Daisy Pocket Pouches

 Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

Yesterday I graduated from my Light Therapy for my psoriasis!
WooHoo! I'm thrilled that I was able to get in all 24 sessions and have great results!
I may have to move to the beach after seeing how well my spots have responded to the lights! Haha!
Doctor did not mention me getting my own Light Box for at home but Shawn & I talked about it and I think we will start looking for a used tanning bed and then look into getting the special bulbs for it.
I can't tell you how much better my skin looks & feels at the moment but I know at any time the spots can start back up because that's how psoriasis rolls. It will never go away as there is NO cure but the sun & light box definitely help keep it under control. Keeping it under control is key!

Today I have a cute little treat box to share with you!
My friend and fellow demonstrator, Debbie Henderson, shared these on one of her FB Lives recently.
She paired the Pocket Framelits with the Best Catch Bundle and it was so cool!
I love the things she creates!
I decided that afternoon to create my own but using things to make it more girly!

Page 50 of the current Stampin Up Catalog has the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set on it.
I've had it and the matching Pocket Framelits since the bundle came out.
I really have not played with it too much so when I seen Debbie's idea to make it into a treat box...I had to get it out and try it! She has a video for it and once I find it I will update it here with the link.

On these I used all the colors that are used in the Gingham Gala DSP so I could use it for the centers of my Daisies! I hate to see this DSP retiring soon because the colors are so refreshing & pretty for spring!

Project Details:

Stamps: Pocketful of Sunshine, Itty Bitty Greetings (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Grapefruit Grove, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Grapefruit Grove, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Gingham Gala DSP
Accessories: Pocket Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Daisy Punch, Organdy Ribbon (SAB 19), 3/4 in Circle Punch, Hole Punch, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

Sadly, the Pocketful of Sunshine stamp set is on the retiring list.
You only have yet this month to get it!
However, the Pocket Framelits are carrying over and also a new stamp set is coming that uses these same framelits! I'm pretty sure the new set will be on my Wish List!

These cute little pouches can hold 2 snack sized candy bars.
I added a Hershey Bar and a Kit Kat! YUM!
Aren't they cute little treat holders!
Thanks to Debbie for sharing hers!

Flannel Shirt Card

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your all having a great week so far!

It's a sunny morning here but rain is to move in this afternoon and I think after that we are in for sunshine the rest of the week! Yipppeee!

I was up half the night with back pain as it started yesterday.
It will definitely be a restful day with an ice pack! Ughh!

I am so excited to share with you a card I made last week from a Debbie Henderson class on making a pocket card for the men in our lives. This one I have been so happy to learn how to make!
We used the Pocket Framelits for this.

I had this sheet of plaid paper in my stash for along time. I recently used it for a card class with my friends and when I seen Debbie's class for this I used up what was left of it. The buttons were from my stash and the smallest I had. This one will most likely get sent to my Dad for Father's Day. I always remember him wearing flannel shirts in the winter.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hero Arts sentiment
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Hot Off The Press Paper
Accessories: Pocket Framelits, Sponge, Buttons, Glue Dots, Tombow Liquid Glue

Using the Pocket Framelits made this card easy to create!

My thoughts today...

I'd be lost without my friends!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Pocketful of Sunshine

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Today I have a quick card to share that I made to have on hand for when an unexpected birthday pops up! I used the Pocketful of Sunshine bundle for this one. Not really sure I like it as I was just playing around with it but thought i'd still share it.

When I looked at the pocket die all I could vision is this being stamped on Dapper Denim to look like denim so that is that color my card took on. The DSP is from last year and since it is 12 X 12 I have a bunch left. This is a really cute stamp set that I want to get alot more use out of in the future because I love that pocket plus there is a pair of sunglasses in this set as well. Love, love, love!

Pocketful of Sunshine Card:

Stamps: Pocketful of Sunshine
Ink: Dapper Denim
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Peekaboo Peach, Whisper White, 12 X 12 InColor DSP (retired)
Accessories: Pocket Framelits, Support Ribbon Framelits (flower), Rhinestones, 2 Sided Tape, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The best thing about this card is the fact that you can tuck a gift card or a few dollars into the pocket as a gift! Such a neat idea don't ya think?
