Friends Are Like Seashells

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

I survived my trip to the dentist yesterday and today I have a dermatologist appointment for my Psoriasis. I haven't said much about it recently only because it hasn't been too much of an issue. I think my ears and some of my scalp cleared up! 

I am itching now from mosquito bites. 

I'll be glad once it gets cooler and they die off!!

Today I have another card to share with you from my get together on Saturday!

I left the girl's know I had beach themed cards for them to do and I think they enjoyed making every single one!

This card uses the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.

I'm so glad this is still current!

This suite of products came out in the 2021 January- June Mini Catalog and I was thrilled that it carried over into our new Annual Catalog this year. I have made several cards using this suite since it came out but wanted to try my hand at an Anniversary Card.

It was so fun teaching them how to fold the DSP for this style of card.

They did a wonderful job! And loved the card, too!

Friends Are Like Seashells

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Our weather yesterday was hot & humid!

Storms rolled thru around supper time.

We did not have anything too bad but some places got hit with crazy winds and downpours!

Today is to be a much nicer day and i'm hoping I do not need my ac on!

My card that I am sharing today is made with the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. This set is in the January- June Mini Catalog that has carried over into the Stampin Up! Annual Catalog. 

However, the DSP did not and is only available until the end of June.

This time I also used the Seashells 3D EF that arrived last week after being on backorder for weeks. It's beautiful and I know here I did not show much of it.

I hope soon to make more cards with this suite of products with my stamp girls.

Fun Pocket Card

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

We've been having some really nice weather here in Pennsylvania the last few days and I have not been downstairs to stamp the last 2 days. Today I plan too if I get all my other chores done! My hubby was off yesterday that is why i'm off my schedule.

I have a cool card to share today using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set!

My card starts with a Blushing Bride cardbase that measures 4 1/4 x 11 and scored at 5 1/2 and again at 1 1/4. Then I adhered each side of the card on the inside to create the pocket. The 1 1/4 inch flap is folded to the outside then I used the Detailed Trio Punch on the corners to round them. I added my Sand & Sea DSP to the front with 2 different prints.

I created the pull out tag using a piece of Blushing Bride cardstock measuring 3 1/4 x 4 1/2. Then a piece of Basic White measuring 3 x 4 1/4. I rounded the corners at just the top of the pull out tag. Then I used my retired Round Top Tab Punch and punched out a So Saffron piece to use as a pull tab. This punch has been retired for many years but I always reach for it when I make Pocket Cards!

The focal sentiment on the front of the card was diecut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits and the Circle Layering Framelits.

The sentiment comes from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set. The shells are from the Seaside Shells Dies. I stamped them on various cardstocks and diecut them out. I love the different colors!

Lastly, I added a Blushing Bride twine bow and some Opal Rounds.

The Opal Rounds are very pretty!

I made these last couple of Friends Are Like Seashells for on my card rack.

I had no beachy style cards left on it so with summer on our heals I thought I better get some made! 

This is a wonderful suite of products which is carrying over to the new 2021-2022 Stampin Up Annual Catalog come May 4th. The only thing not carrying over is the gorgeous Sand & Sea DSP! So if you like this paper you'd better grab it before it's gone.

I do think this is one of Stampin Up's best seashell sets that I have seen and I like all the sentiments included in it!

Daffodils are my favorite spring flower!

Yesterday we drove past a local farm that their entire property was lined with daffodils! It was so neat & very pretty!

Love You to the Beach & Back

Today I have another card to share made using the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.

Card Details:

Ink: Flirty Flamingo

Cardstock: So Saffron, Blushing Bride, Flirty Flamingo, Whisper White, Sand & Sea DSP

Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Tasteful Textile 3D EF, Blushing Bride Twine, So Saffron Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card started out with a So Saffron cardbase then a layer of Blushing Bride that I ran thru the Big Shot with the Tasteful Textile 3D EF. The next layer is a piece of the Sand & Sea DSP that I tore the bottom. Once those layers were adhered together I wrapped my Blushing Bride around it 3 times and tied my bow. My sentiment was stamped with Flirty Flamingo and diecut with the Stitched Shapes Framelits which are sadly retiring. I layered that onto a Flirty Flaming Scallop Circle Framelit.

I popped that up on my card with a Dimensional. Lastly, I added some retired So Saffron Enamel Dots to finish up my card.

I love the colors in this package of DSP!

Life has been crazy busy but I am doing well.

Post It Notes

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday I got all my housework done then Shawn & I went out for supper. 

It turned out to be a nice day with lots of sunshine but there was a bit of a breeze that kept it on the cool side. Gigi & Bailee certainly loved being out in the yard soaking up the sun! We still have a tiny bit of snow left in the yard where the sun doesn't hit too much but I bet by tomorrow it will be gone. They are calling for 60-65 degrees today so I hope to get out to walk.

Shawn is home today. 

His Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS) had him up most of the night so of course he is sleeping now!

I do believe that he needs a medication change. 

Kelsey also has RLS and is on a different medication than him.

Today I am sharing more of those cute Post It Note Holders that have the pen attached!

I just love these and think they re such a brilliant idea to keep the pen attached.
