Christmas Swankies

Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's Christmas Eve and things are going as planned.
Shawn steamed the shrimp last evening and today I have a couple of things to make for supper tonight and 2 more gifts to get wrapped.

Ryan has been sick the last 2 days and I hope when he wakes up today that he is feeling better.

Today I have one last thing to share that I made up for Christmas.
I have been making these the last several years for different occasions but this is the first time this year I have made them. They are the soft tissue box holders. I found the Swankie Tissues at my local Giant grocery store.

I remember they day I made these. It was a few weeks ago when I threw my back out and I was trying to get something accomplished and was not in much of a mood to decorate them. I left the paper do all the work. Aren't those packs of tissues cute?
The sentiment on each tissue box is from the Half Full stamp set.
It is a million dollar achiever set created by Linda Bauwin.

Christmas Swankies:

Stamps: Half Full (sentiment)
Ink: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White, Be Merry DSP
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Silver Metallic Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are usually a very good seller for me with people ordering more than I've originally made but this year that was not the case. It's hard to say from one year to the next what will be a hit. Thankfully I can keep these for another year and try again. You just never know!

**********************************************
My thoughts today....

I'm off to make deviled eggs and get my cheese & bologna tray ready for tonight.
Busy, busy, busy! Tis the season!

Hopefully tonight I can relax and watch one of my favorite Christmas movies, Disney's - A Christmas Carol. I love How the Grinch Stole Christmas, too! I have been watching them all this year, it just makes me happy!

That is all for me now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful Christmas Eve!

Sweet Easter Treats

Hello & Happy Saturday!

With Easter being tomorrow I am going to share the last of my Easter Sweet Treats today! I made all these things to sell at Kirsten's work and also to friends & family of my parent's. Let's get to it!

These are Lindor Chocolates Bags that I picked up at my local Dollar Tree for $1.00. I added a cute bunny tag to the top of my bags with a bow and called it done. These all sold for $1.75 each. I'm not a big fan of the Lindor Chocolates but I know my hubby likes them so I had to hide these from him before they went to Kirsten's work. LOL

I had one Swankies Tissue pack left from my parents goodie baskets so I was able to grab a picture of the cute bunny tissues made by Swankies! I wish I would have been able to find more of these with the bunny on but no such luck.

These are some 3X3 cards that I made for people to add to a cute little Easter gift. There are 4 cards in each pack that I sold for $3.00 each. The bunny is from Rubber Stampede, sentiment from Stampin Up and the doilies are from Martha Stewart. The pink panel on these are embossed with the Lg Polka Dots Embossing Folder and I colored these with Copic Markers. I will be using these for a few gifts on Easter myself! Cute, cute, cute!

Hope you enjoyed seeing all my Easter Goodies this year!
Tomorrow I will be back with one last thing that i'd like to share for Easter so be sure to stop by!

That's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy Stamping!

Thanksgiving Goodies, A Bit Late

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend! I'm sure for most it is stressful & busy with it being the last weekend before Christmas! Last evening I sat looking thru my pictures from the last few months. Those months that have passed me by and have been a blurr since I have been busy with my shows & outside orders. I happen to stumble upon a folder that had a bunch of Thanksgiving things in that I made and realized I never posted them. I tell ya, I have never been so overwhelmed as I have been since I came home from vacation in September! So, i'd like to share those things with you even though I know Thanksgiving is long gone for this year.

These tissue packs I found this past year from Swankies are just the cutest things! I did them up for Halloween, Thanksgiving & Christmas!

While shopping one day at our local Dollar Tree I found these Lindor Candies in these cute fall colors. Of course, I was going to use them for a table setting at our Thanksgiving dinner but a friend of mine seen them and bought all of them I had made up! Easy come, easy go! They sure were cute!
The sentiment on the tag comes from Verve Stamps.

Everyone likes M&M's so I did up about 15 M&M Sticks in the Fall M&M colors and used a tag from the Merry Everything stamp set that coordinates with a matching punch! Love that!

They were all so cute!

Well, that's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Christmas Gifts

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Sat today and whipped up 8 snowman soups which I will share tomorrow but in the meantime I wanted to show the little gifts I whipped up for my stamp girls Christmas get together last week!
We had a fun time at Chili's and exchanged our gifts, ate our meals then parted ways. Saturday we had a project day planned but unfortunately I did not attend due to my back. We will be getting together mid January for a Stampin Up Party and I am looking forward to it!

Here are my little gifts I gave the girls....

They loved the bottles filled with Hershey Candy Cane Kisses & Hershey Hugs. I picked those bottles up at Michael's. They already had the twine & jingle bells on. I just added the tag.
The tissue packs which I did not show all because some were copies of those in the picture. The tissues are called Swankies that I picked up at local grocery store. The one with the Breast Cancer tag on is for Cinda whom is a Breast Cancer Survivor. The boxes are made with a variety of papers and these were a very good seller this year! I have more to share with you soon!

Well, that's all for now!
Heading out shortly to get my hair done for Christmas. Six weeks ago I went all dark with the hair color but today i'm going back to the blonde highlights. I have really missed them!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
Happy Holidays!

Happy Halloween, Friends!!

Hello & Happy Friday!

Yep, we made it to Halloween! WooHoo!

Today my hubby had the day off and both Gigi & Bailee had a Vet appointment this morning. All is fine. Then we made a run to the store to get Christmas candy to fill all my crafts for my upcoming shows. After that we made our way to our to Deb & Ed's for our annual get together to hand out candy for Trick or Treat night. We were neighbors for 17 years and always got together to hand out candy. Then we moved to Joplin, Missouri and moved back a year later. Every year since we came back we kept up with the tradition of handing candy out together! We always have a good time & enjoy it so much!

Anyways, we made our way back home and I wanted to watch Gold Rush on tv then get the blog updated. I have a few more Halloween things to share and this will be the last of it for this year.

Here we go!

Candy Corn Tissue Packs

Boo Tissue Holders

September's Paper Pumpkin Project...

Halloween Box made with the Petite Gift Boxes in the Holiday Mini....

Well, that's all I have tonight!
Hope everyone had a fun Halloween night!
Tomorrow all my decorations will come down and we'll get ready for Thanksgiving!
Boy, the time is just flying by!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
