Father's Day Bridge Fold

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today Shawn & I are headed to Gettysburg to a Tesla event. I really did not want to go but Shawn asked me to go along since I never go to any of them. Ryan is on dog duty today while we are away but we are only an hour away from home if need be. Anyways, I am looking forward to some time away and picking blueberries! And our weather is to be pleasantly nice!

Since it is Father's Day weekend I have a really fun fold card to share with you.

I made this one for the bin which will go on the card rack eventually. I used the retired Gone Fishing suite that retired a few years ago.

This style of card is SO easy to make & fun!

It folds flat to mail and I just love how to it stands to be displayed.

I think Shawn would have really liked this one but I was late on making it and Ryan already picked a card for him.

A Fun Challenge W/ Vicki

I'm ready for the weekend! Are you?

Tomorrow I am attending a Tesla event with Shawn and then hoping to get to pick some blueberries to freeze. I eat blueberries almost everyday so they will be a nice treat over the winter months.

Today my dear friend, Vicki & I are sharing a fun challenge....to make a candy dispenser box!

I haven't made one of these in quite a few years so this was fun! Since the 4th of July is coming quickly I decided to make mine with Red, White & Blue. It also helped that I had a bag of Red, White & Blue M&M's to put to good use!

A Warm Hello

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

It's to be a hot & humid day ahead with severe thunderstorms then a nice cool down for the following couple of days. Bailee & I are hibernating in the basement today where it is much cooler! I hope to get some crafting done, too!

I have a sweet card to share today made with all things retired.

I know I sound like a broken record everyday but for the money it cost for these products I am not gonna let them sit and collect dust any longer. Yes, I am still purchasing newer product but most days you will see retired stuff getting it's moment to shine!

Today's card uses the retired Circle Sayings bundle from 2023 that was a Million Dollar Achiever set by Jessica Taylor. I might have used it a handful of times so I brought it out and played with it recently.

Welcome Baby, Elena!

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

I wanted to share a card I made for Audrey on one of her recent orders.

She recently welcomed great grandchild #7 and she asked if I had time to create a personalized card for Elena. Since I already had the baby image colored and floating around in my drawer, I said I would make it. I pulled out some VERY old Stampin Up! DSP and got to work.

Card Details:

Stamps: Forever Friends, Oval Occasions (retired)

Ink: Memento Black, Pretty in Pink, Copic Markers

Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Barely Banana (retired), Basic White, Candy DSP (retired 2003)

Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Mini Alphabet Dies (retired), Pretty in Pink Shimmer Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

All I had to do to create this card was diecut the image & sentiment panels and then use an adhesive sheet on a piece of Pretty in Pink cardstock to diecut the letters out for the name. Sweet & simple! She loved it!

Butterfly Thinking of You

I hope you had a nice weekend! 

It got a bit toasty yesterday! We did a quick trip to Sam's Club first thing in the morning then took a long walk down to the square in Red Lion and did some window shopping along the way. We went into the consignment shop which was very nice! I got myself a summer dress since the other 2 I have are way too big now. I also found some brand new shirts for $2 a piece. Can't beat that in this day & age where everything is priced thru the roof!

Anyways, today I have a card to share that is a blast from the past. It uses all things retired which is great because it means I am using up my old stash.

I got rid of so many of my wood mounted floral sets that I just have not used in years and felt it was time to pass them on. This one was always a favorite so it stayed! And that DSP is just so pretty!

This card was put in my bin for when the card rack needs refreshed.

Thank You Strawberries

Today I have a quick Thank You card to share with you.

I was going thru some packs of retired papers the other week and decided to whip up a couple of cards to keep on hand for customers as a thank you for their orders. I also created a bunch of other occasions too but today I am showing you the thank you card.

Here in Pennsylvania locally grown strawberries are just about finished. They don't last long here, a few weeks at most but they are so sweet & flavorful. So when I came across a few scraps of the Berry Delightful DSP with strawberries in the print I grabbed them and got to work.

Card Details:

Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Berry Delightful DSP (retired SAB 2021)

Accessories: Lazy Daisy 3D EF (Online Exclusives), Stitched So Sweetly Dies (retired 2020), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I kept this simple because I wanted the adorable Lazy Daisy 3D EF to shine! I really love this one and the added texture it brings to a card. I wanted to add things like enamel dots & ribbon but I kept it simple for easy mailing. 

I found a whole brand new package of the Berry Delightful DSP in my stash that I had no idea I had! This paper was very well loved over the years and can you imagine my delight when I found a whole unopened pack of it! Yes, I was thrilled!

Beautiful Scenery Father's Day Card

Today I have another Father's Day card to show you made with the Relaxing Waterside suite from the new 2026 May-August Catalog! I personally love the different prints in this pack of paper...so many to choose from!

This card uses 3 different prints from the pack of Waterside Retreat DSP. 

It displays those 3 patterns nicely and made for a great card! I don't know who designed this paper but WOW, it's beautiful!

Today, Shawn went up to the Juniata River to go fishing.

He's been waiting to go and finally we have some nice weather to do so!

I'm just putzing around the house looking for something to do. I'm still giving my hands a nice long rest from cardmaking & stamping for now. I got a puzzle out the other day but never started it. Hope you have some fun plans for today!

Dad's Day

It's to be another very hot & humid day here in PA. My ac has been on constantly since Wednesday morning because Bailee does not like the heat. Needless to say, she is loving the ac being on! LOL
