Merry Monday Challenge #130

Hello & Happy Monday, Everyone!

Hope everyone had a nice relaxing weekend!

Today we have a new challenge from over at Merry Monday! LeAnne is our hostess and she is asking for Silent Night on our cards! Christmas is not too far off so we hope you will play along with us this week!

I pulled out the perfect set for this challenge called, Silent Night. I love the peace of the little church with snow on the ground. I stamped my church in Early Espresso on Very Vanilla cardstock and added glitter to the snow with a glue pen. My DSP is from a paper pad called Festival of Prints. I'm trying hard to use up alot of my papers. My sentiment is punched out with the Wide Oval Punch and popped up with a dimensional. Quick & easy! I love the glitter!

Pumpkin Treats for the Sweet

Hello & Happy Friday!

Sorry for a late post today. Was a busy day around the Aungst Pad.
I did finally make my way downstairs to finish working on some Halloween Treats and my little Creative Memories Paper Trimmer broke! That is enough to upset the apple cart as far as i'm concerned. I use that thing very hard. I went on Ebay and bought myself another one ASAP! Hopefully by Wednesday of next week i'll be back in business! LOL

Anyways, here are the treats I finished up today....

I got the Pumpkin digi from my dear friend, Vicki, so I have no idea who the creator is. I printed my Pumpkin image out, colored it with my Copic Markers then cut it out with my Circle Nestibilities. I layered it on top of a Black Scallop Circle Nestibilities. My topper itself is Black cardstock with a piece of patterned paper from Hobby Lobby. I think it is made by The Paper Studio. I added a bow made of 1/8 Black & Pumpkin Pie Taffeta Ribbon and called them done. I made 40 of these! Some of my treat bags have Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins in and some have Russell Stovers Chocolate Marshmellow Pumpkins in. Yum!

Well, that's all for today!
Off to watch the last episode of Bering Sea Gold then off to bed.
Tomorrow is the York Heirloom Stamp Show and i'm looking forward to hanging out with my stamp girls.....except for Deb K.....she's in Florida visiting her son. Boo!

Thanks for stopping by!

Tiny Treat Boxes

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today i'm sharing something that I seen my Merry Monday team mate, Debbie Henderson, make. A few weeks ago she made an adorable little Halloween box that grabbed my eye! Here is the link to her project. It was so cute!!! So last night I was up late playing around at my stamp table and this is what I walked away with!

She used 2 of the Tiny Treat Boxes from the Stampin Up Holiday Mini catalog. Glued them together, back to back and then decorated. Those boxes might be tiny but they are ohh so cute all decorated up! I did a boatload of them for my Christmas craft shows! Once I had my boxes decorated, I added 2 small cello bags filled with Hershey Caramel Kisses. Mmmm! I snuck 2 and put the bag away!
I decorated my little box with Color Me Autumn DSP and then stamped a wreath from the Wondrous Wreath stamp set in matching colors. I think with the wreath & papers being the same colors, the wreath gets a bit lost on there. I do like the look of it anyways. I popped up my wreath with dimensionals, added a bow with Mossy Meadow Ribbon and a flag banner with Hello Fall from the For All Things stamp set. This is a very cute project that does not take much time at all to put together. I'm excited now to show you the ones I did for Christmas but it will have to wait a few more weeks until I can find some Christmas candies to put in them.
I hope you like my little treat box and again I thank Debbie Henderson for sharing her adorable little Halloween box with us! She rocks!

Happy Fall Box:

Merry Monday Challenge #129

Hello & Happy Monday!

Today we have a new challenge over at Merry Monday!
Kristie is our hostess this week and she would like us to use neon colors on our Christmas cards!

Let's get to it!

My card is a different size than the normal A2 cards. This is 3 X 6 which fits in the Open End Envelopes that Stampin Up use to sell. I pulled out an old set called Weather or Not because I really like these cute mittens in it plus I thought they'd look adorable in neon colors. I used Tempting Turquoise & Green Galore SU Markers to color my stamp. I used a piece of Tempting Turquoise DSP from the old Designer Series 12 X 12 Paper Stacks. My sentiment was cut out with the Bitty Banners Framelits and popped up. I added 2 small rhinestones on the 2 mittens that had snowflakes on them. I'm all about the bling!

Hope you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to see what the other ladies have created this week! Always lots of inspiration!! We also hope you will play along with us! Christmas is not that far off!!

World Card Making Day 2014

Hello & Happy Saturday!

It was a busy day in my stamp room today! I spend most of the day stamping and once again working on craft show things. After supper I went in search of a challenge to participate in so I could make another Christmas card for my upcoming craft shows. I went to the Freshly Made Sketches blog for inspiration! It's been quite awhile since I played along with that challenge and think I just may need to get back to it on a weekly basis! They have some awesome sketches each week and the design team always has some pretty inspiring cards!

So here is the sketch....

I just love the Festive Flurries stamp set & matching Framelits from last year so I decided to break out some Winter's Frost DSP to go with them. I'm so drawn to the colors in this DSP! I also love this sketch too!

Stamps: Festive Flurry, Cute Converse 2006
Ink: Island Indigo, Pool Party

Color Challenge 498 & Sketch Challenge 508

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Also a very happy October 1st! Where has the year gone??!!

Anyways, today I sat to craft a bit before I head out for Ryan's doctor appointment this afternoon. I wanted to play along with the SCS Color Challenge yesterday but I worked on Christmas craft show things & my Halloween Tissue Box. After I saw the SCS Sketch Challenge today, I decided to combine the 2 challenges on one card.

Here are this week's colors & the sketch:

Elegant Eggplant, Crushed Curry & Garden Green

These colors reminded me of Fall and i'm loving the fact that the ladies from the Color Challenge used Elegant Eggplant. It is a very unused color but one I really love!
I used an embossing folder that I picked up last year at the York Heirloom Stamp Show from Darice. I was drawn to the pretty variety of leaves. I embossed my 3 very pretty Fall colored cardstock with it and layered it onto a pc of Very Vanilla. My piece of designer seris paper is from last year's Fall paper called Sweater Weather. I used a retired border punch from Stampin Up called Eyelet Border Punch. My sentiment is from the For All Things stamp set out of the Holiday Mini.
Hope you like!

CC498 & SC508 Card:

Stamps: For All Things
Ink: Elegant Eggplant
Cardstock: Elegant Eggplant, Very Vanilla, Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Sweater Weather DSP
Accessories: Darice Leaves Embossing Folder, Eyelet Border Punch, Elegant Eggplant Grosgrain Ribbon, 2 Sided Tape

Well, that's all for today!
Thanks for popping in today & have a great day!

Halloween Tissue Box

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

I spent the day working on things for my upcoming craft shows! Boy, i'm tired!
Anyways, before I head off to bed I wanted to share my Halloween Tissue Box that I finished up after supper tonight. I used a new stamp set from Stampin Up called Fall Fest. I had some issues using it being that it is a polymer set and I have never had any luck using that type of stamp. I put a HELP call out on Facebook and got quite a few suggestions, one being to take an eraser over the stamp image to take off the goop that is on it from the manufacturer. Worked like a charm and I had much better results! Thanks ladies!

So here is my tissue box.....

This fits over top of a cube box of tissues and this will sit proudly in my living room on the coffee table! I'm quite pleased with it!

Halloween Tissue Box:

Stamps: Fall Fest, SU Sentiment
Ink: Tangerine Tango, Garden Green SU Marker, Black Stazon
Cardstock: Tangerine Tango, Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Motley Monsters DSP
Accessories: Fall Fun Framelits, Oval Nestibilities (opening on top of tissues), Circle Nestibilities, Bitty Banners Framelits, Candy Corn Glitter Buttons, White & Tangerine Two Toned Twine, Dimensionals, Liquid Multi Mono Adhesive

ETA: Here is the link to making the Tissue Boxes:
Tissue Box Directions

Hope that helps!
Well, that is all for today!
Off to bed I take my sleepy butt now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Merry Monday Challenge Week #128

Hello & Happy Monday!

Today we have a new challenge from over at Merry Monday
Katie is our hostess so let's get to it!

Once I seen the challenge I went in search of either striped or polka dot designer paper. I pulled out this paper pad from last year called Season of Styles and seen the polka dots on one side & the stripes on the other. I cut the sheet in half and layered it on to Crumb Cake cardstock. Then I added some yummy Cherry Cobbler ribbon and a beautiful bow under the sentiment. Layered all that on top on my Cherry Cobbler cardbase and called it done. Simple, quick & easy!

Hope you will stop by the Merry Monday blog to what the other Merry Makers have created this week! We also hope you will play along!

Merry Monday Challenge #128 Card:

Stamps: Joy to the World
Ink: Cherry Cobbler
Cardstock: Cherry Cobbler, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Season of Styles DSP
Accessories: Cherry Cobbler Ribbon, 2 Sided Tape
