Color Challenge 477

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

What a gorgeous day we are having today so i'm going to make this short so I can get outside a bit with Gigi & Bailee.

Here are today's colors from the Color Challenge over at SCS and my project....

The colors are: Pool Party, Basic Black & White. The dessert option was to use stencils which I don't have any so I had to pass on dessert.

I made myself a covered tablet to help keep track of my food intake.

Had my trip to see the family doctor yesterday and he got the results back from my blood work that was done on Saturday. My pre-diabetic levels drop a bit but i'm still in the pre-diabetic range. Got to work harder on that! My thyroid level went up a good bit so he upped my daily dose of Synthroid and everything else was ok. Lost a few pounds and I really need to work harder especially now that my back is feeling better! I am still having pain when I stand but for the most part it's getting better. Walking has been wonderful and i've been taking full advantage of that!
So, the doctor gave me some suggestions on lowering my sugar intake and suggested that I keep track of it. That's where my little tablet comes into play. I covered it with the Sweet Sorbet DSP and dug out a great sentiment to hopefully keep me on track! I stamped some Petite Petals and punched them out with the coordinating punch and added some pretty white pearls to them. I added a piece of black grosgrain as a bookmark and a pretty Pool Party bow on the front and called it done.

Color Challenge 447 Tablet:

Stamps: Petite Petals, saying from Inkadinkado
Ink: Memento Black, Pool Party
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Sweet Sorbet DSP
Accessories: Oval & Oval Lacey Nesties, Petite Petals Punch, White Pearls, Basic Black Grosgrain, Pool Party Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

That's all for today!
Time to get out & enjoy the sunshine!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Wendy - your tablets are AWESOME! Do you make these yourself or cover ones you already have in your stash? In any case just love them!

Your covered notebooks are always so pretty and this one is no exception. I always liked that wording too.

Glad your back is feeling better, Wendy! And what a pretty way to track your eating! I need to do that myself.
