Gift Card/Money Holders for Christmas

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

It's quite the cold & blustery day here in Pennsylvania after a day of snow yesterday! Burrr!
Winter arrived this morning and boy, did it ever! I said today I was going to hibernate and that is what the plan is! Groceries are bought and I got my wrapping paper & tape so i'm good to go!
Today I am sharing 6 gift card/money holders that I made up for Shawn's HR lady at work. I worked on these last Saturday and rather enjoyed making them!

I am not going to list everything I used in making these but if there is something you need to know please done hesitate to leave me a comment and I will reply.

I still have a few more gift card holders to make for gifts this weekend and other than that my Christmas crafts are pretty much wrapped up!

Hope you stay warm and enjoy the last few days before the Christmas holiday!

Simple Christmas Cards

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I hope your week is going well!
We are now less than a week away from Christmas and all I have left to do is some wrapping. I hope to get that done over the weekend after I pop out and grab some tape. It's suppose to get really cold again later today and my plan is to hibernate once the weekend gets here.
Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you that were simple to create and as usual I left the paper do all the work!

Card Details:

Stamps: PSX
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Patterned Paper from Michael's
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Isn't that paper so pretty? I grabbed 2 sheets of it back in the Fall one day we were out shopping. My plan was to make a pack of cards with one sheet and cover a notebook with the other. Never got around to making the notebook. Maybe next year! At this point my hands are shot and I am giving myself a few days to let them heal. Then I need to get a hop on getting my 2025 calendars made. That might be a weekend job too while I am hibernating!

New Home-Christmas Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

We are in for another rainy day which we really do need but I feel like lately we've had quite a few cloudy, dreary days! I loved the sunshine and 50's yesterday and I know they are short lived as we have some really cold temps coming! So, today I have another card to share that I made last week as part of Audrey's card order. She requested a card for her grandson & his wife that just bought their 1st home. She also asked if I could make it Christmas-y!
Oh boy, I had alot of fun with this one!

Card Details:

Stamps: Humble Home, Snowy Wonder, Inkadinkadoo
Ink: Garden Green, Versamark, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Pecan Pie, Take A Bow DSP
Accessories: Snowy Wonder Dies, Humble Home Builder Punch, White Loose Snowflakes, Red & White Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As soon as she asked about a card for the new house my mine went right to the snow globe dies in the Snowy Wonder bundle and this worked out perfectly! The little wreath on the house was stamped colored and fussy cut, then placed on the house with a small dimensional. I loved everything about this card and so did Audrey!
I thought about making this a shaker card but I wasn't sure if Audrey was mailing this or not so I just left it as is. What do you think?

Sophisticated Sled Wreath Cards

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

A quick post this morning then, I have a few chores I need to finish up this morning.
I have a set of cards to share today that I made for Audrey as part of her Christmas card order. This one uses a set from the Online Exclusives list called Sophisticated Sled. It has coordinating dies and let me say that this set makes some beautiful cards! Audrey usually likes the wreaths or poinsettia's so I grabbed this set back in July and whipped this set up. I put these cards aside for her for when it was Christmas time and she loved them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sophisticated Sled (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive, Stampin Blends-Old Olive, Real Red
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Season of Green & Gold DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Sophisticated Sled Dies (Online Exclusives), Greeting of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Gold Trim, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She was so taken with the little cardinal on the wreath! I'm surprised she has not asked for another pack of these! Speaking of Audrey, I will be seeing her this evening to pick up the Christmas candy treat basket and deliver her some birthday cards that she forgot to order on her last order. I hope my candy basket comes back empty!

Sentimental Christmas

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

It's the start of a new week and that means I need to do some cleaning today. I also need to get my Christmas cards addressed and get in the mail. I wanted to do that yesterday but instead I relaxed and watched tv most of the day. We did a walk around the neighborhood last evening right after it started snowing. Surprisingly, it wasn't too cold out and the snow changed over to rain.
Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you that I made for Audrey using the Sentimental Christmas DSP. That suite of products reminded me of an old fashioned Christmas which sometimes is hard to find anymore. I loved the trees in this paper as well as the ribbon candy and the stockings. I kept these cards simple as Audrey does not like all the bells & whistles added to them. She really liked this set though and was pleased that they would mail flat.

Card Details:

Stamps: Brightest Glow (retired)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Basic Beige, Shaded Spruce, Sentimental Christmas DSP, Season of Elegance Specialty DSP
Accessories: Labels Aglow Dies (retired), Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hear my cup of coffee calling my name so I'm going to go enjoy that and get my day started. With a gloomy rainy day ahead I may need a second cup!

A Beautiful Season

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

It's football day so that is where we are....watching the game in the family room with the Christmas lights on & a fire in the fireplace. I love this time of year!
I wanted to update my blog early this morning as I usually do but I slept in after staying up late to watch the new Hallmark movie last night. Then once I was up Shawn wanted to run out to a store, so here I am now. LOL Better late than never, right?

This beautiful card was made with a very old Stampin Up! set called A Beautiful Season from 2003. I recently borrowed it from my friend, Deb, to make this card for Audrey. Every holiday season she requests a cardinal card for a good friend of hers that loves cardinals. I think I have used every Stampin Up! set that has a cardinal in so I went looking for something different and Deb was happy to help a girl out!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Beautiful Season (retired), Stars At Night (retired)
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Reindeer Days DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Gold Trim, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope to play with this set a bit more before I give it back to Deb. Something about the older sets just make the cards more special.

That's all for today!

Christmas Stamp Day Card #4

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

Can you believe that we are 12 days away from Christmas?
The time is just flying by so quickly anymore!
Today I have card # 4 from my recent Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together and on this one I kept it very simple by letting the paper do all the work! This is what you'd call a 5 minute card!

Card Details:

Stamps: Reindeer Fun
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Pool Party, Real Red, Basic White, Reindeer Days DSP
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies, Adhesive Backed Peppermints, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Since I always have all the diecutting done ahead of time for the girls we started by stamping the sentiment and putting the card together. It literally took 5 minutes!
I like to keep the cards quick & easy for Stamp Days w/ Friends and I love when the paper does all the work! Isn't that reindeer in the paper adorable?

This is the last card from Stamp Day w/ Friends that we made for Christmas. It was so much fun having the girls over and just having that time to talk and sing along with the Christmas music we had playing! I'm not sure when I will have another Stamp Day with the girls but I find that stamping with my friends is always good for my soul!

Hope you enjoyed seeing what we made!
Today I am working on laundry and hoping to get a few of Audrey's cards done. She called yesterday and added 2 single Christmas cards to her birthday card order. No plans today as I got groceries already done for this week. It's also pretty darn cold out so I am going to be staying put inside. I made a Crock Pot of homemade veggie soup yesterday and it was exactly what was needed to keep warm!

Christmas Stamp Day #3

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

My goodness, did it ever drop some rain yesterday!
Today it feels like winter has come back with a vengeance! Burrr!
So today I am sharing card #3 from my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together.
I love how this one turned out!

Card Details:

Stamps: Merriest Trees
Ink: Granny Apple Green, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Basic Black, Granny Apple Green, Basic White, Celebrate Everything DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Merriest Trees Dies, Snowflake Sky 3D EF, Black & White Gingham Ribbon (retired), Adhesive Backed Sparkle Gems, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I got all of the Christmas treats & Audrey's card order delivered to her. I will be going back in a week or so to pick up the basket and take some birthday cards to her. She forgot to order birthday cards on her last order so I don't see much rest for my hands just yet.
Today I am picking at laundry and maybe getting a start on those cards.
Tis the season, right?!

I agree on that! Stay Warm!

Christmas Stamp Day Card #2

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

My plan for today is to relax and catch my breath!
Last few weeks I feel like I have been going 100 mph and I can tell I have been stressed because my back is hurting along with my hands. Nothing a few days of taking it easy can't take care of. I still have some Christmas shopping to do so I may just get that done today, online!

Today I am sharing card #2 from my recent Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together with the girls. It was a day full of talking, laughing and of course, eating! Thanks girls for bringing the snacks! We munched on cheese & peanut butter crackers, Pringles Chips and Cupcakes! The girls probably did not think I would eat any of that after losing 83 pounds but this girl did indulge!! Hey, just because I am trying to better my health doesn't mean that I don't eat because I will say that I do not starve myself in anyway shape or form! LOL

Here is my most favorite card! Any guesses as to what it could be??

If you know me, you know I love anything gingerbread related!!
I told the girls that they could happily send this card to me for Christmas! LOL

Card Details:

Stamps: Humble Home, Snowy Wonder, More Than Autumn
Ink: Pecan Pie, Versamark, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Pecan Pie, Basic White, Take A Bow DSP
Accessories: Forever Plaid 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, More Than Autumn Dies, Snowy Wonder Dies, Humble Home Builder Punch, Heat Gun, White Embossing Powder, Adhesive Backed Peppermints, Red & White Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card I had all the embossing and diecutting done ahead of time so this one did not take long at all to put together. Sometimes I like to let the girls do the work themselves but if I want things to go along quickly I do the work for them.

I hope you liked this card as much as I did and you will stop back again tomorrow for card #3!

Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends Card # 1

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend! It sure was a busy one here and it was over in the blink of an eye! Saturday I had the girls over to make some Christmas cards for Stamp Day w/ Friends. We had so much fun! On Sunday I had a friend text and ask to come over to buy some Christmas cards. I don't see her as often anymore so we spent 2 hours just chit chatting about life and catching up. After those 2 days of the girls shopping my Christmas stash I had to do a quick run to the store on Sunday afternoon to grab more candy and make more treats to take to Audrey this week. Guess it was good for business but not so good on my hands! Anyways, all in all it was terrific and I always love spending time with friends!

Monday I spent the day finishing up Audrey's card order and getting the finishing touches put on the treats. I will be delivering her things this evening so once that is done I will be able to breath a sigh of relief and let my hands get a break before starting the 2025 Calendars. If all goes as planned (and normally it never does) I can get them wrapped up by the end of next week and get them to my customers before the start of the new year! That is the plan....have to see how that one goes!

So, this week I am sharing the cards we made on Saturday at my Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. This year I only designed 4 simple cards as I'm trying to make things less stressful on my self. Here is card #1...

Card Details:

Stamps: Poinsettia Petals (retired)
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Old Olive, Basic White, Gold Foil Paper, Graceful Greenery Vellum & Season of Green & Gold DSP (both from the Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Poinsettia Dies (retired), Perennial Postage Dies, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card went together so quickly since I did all the diecutting ahead of time!
Another plus is that it lays flat for easy mailing!
Make sure you stop back to see tomorrows card! It's my favorite!
