Celebrate the Miracle

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's a rainy morning here in Pennsylvania and we are up early after a late night up watching football. Our team played on the west coast for Monday Night Football and usually when they play that late we watch the first quarter or 2 them head to bed. Since Shawn is on vacation this week we were able to stay up but it was tough. With a lack of sleep this morning we are happy that our team won!

Today I have a card to share that I made with a stamp set that is on the Online Exclusives list called Celebrate the Miracle. I never made a card for Hanukkah and I purchased this set about a year ago so I needed to ink it up. I put a spot on my card rack for Hanukkah just incase one of my card customers needed a card for this occasion.

Card Details:

Stamps: Celebrate the Miracle (Online Exclusives), A Wish For Everything (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Daffodil Delight, Versamark, Gold Embossing Powder
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Boho Blue, Basic White
Accessories: Distressed Tiles 3D EF, Circle Layering Framelits, Heat Gun, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I forgot all about making this card but yesterday when were out shopping I was reminded when I seen a huge selection of Hanukkah items in a store. The Hallmark Channel also plays Hanukkah movies every year with some great stories behind them!
Speaking of the stores....yesterday when we were out shopping you would have thought is was Black Friday, the stores were packed and the lines at the registers were long! I think from today thru the Christmas season the only store I will be going to is the grocery store. Hobby Lobby was the worst with only 3 registers open and lines running back throughout the store. We waited in line longer than it took to shop and it was just too people-ly for me.

Anyways, today I am gonna make my deviled eggs & pumpkin pie for our Thanksgiving and get that off my to do list. Ryan specifically asked for deviled eggs and how can I say no, we all love them! Do you have a favorite thing you like with your Thanksgiving meal?

Snow Globe Snowman Card

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

I hope your weekend was nice!
Friday we had rain & snow and it was just downright cold & windy out!
We went out and ran some errands that morning which did not last long as I was chilled to the bone. Saturday I had a haircut appointment then finished up one last card kit for my Christmas Stamp Day w/ Friends get together while Shawn cleaned up the garage. Sunday I stamped most of the day! Christmas treats are completed! YAY! Now waiting on Audrey's December card order which i'm sure I will be hearing from her soon!

Shawn is on vacation this week so today we are making a quick shopping trip to Sam's Club and I need to hit Hobby Lobby while we are out. Football is on tonight and for once we can stay up to watch!! YAY!

Today I have a really cute card to share with you using the new Snowy Scenes bundle from the 2024 Holiday Mini Catalog! I love that is makes a snow globe with all the dies and great embellishments!

Card Details:

Stamps: Snowy Wonder
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green, Pool Party, Basic Black Archival (retired), Real Red Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Pool Party, Basic White, Snowy Scenes DSP
Accessories: Snowy Wonder Dies, Forever Plaid 3D EF, Snowy Wonder Dies, Stylish Shapes Dies, Pool Party Pom Pom Ribbon, Red & White Twine, Adhesive Backed Peppermints, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Yesterday I played with this bundle to create some Christmas treats!
It is so much fun! I will be using this to make Christmas cards for Audrey's great granddaughters! A cool shaker card would be neat, don't you think?

Next week I am going to start sharing my Christmas treats so stay tuned for that! So exciting!

Birthday Card for Special Little One

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Last evening we got some rain along with gusty winds and much colder temps!
Today they are calling for snow here but only around an inch and it's to be cold! Maybe winter decided to come early this year! Shawn is now officially on vacation until Dec 2nd and today we are headed out to run some errands then back home to tackle the laundry! I know, not really exciting but just another day in the life of a crafter! LOL

Today's card that I am sharing was made for Audrey's last card order. Her great granddaughter, Evie, celebrated her 1st birthday in October! She requested a dog on the card so I pulled out a few retired supplies and got to work...

Ballerina Birthday

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today's card is one that was on Audrey's last card order for her neighbor, Molly!
Every year since this little girl was born I have made cards for Audrey to give her. She loves dancing & the ballet. I really did not have much else to offer as far as dancing so the ballerina won! I really love how this one turned out...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sparkly Seasons (retired), Greetings of the Season & Everyday Greetings (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pretty in Pink
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Basic White, Pretty in Pink DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pretty in Pink In Color Shimmer Dots & Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey loved it!

Yesterday I managed to get my 3rd card kit almost completed for my Christmas Stamp Day w Friends. I think I was on the phone more than I had time to stamp! It must have been the day that everyone wanted to chat with me! Haha! Anyways, I will finish up that kit this morning then the rest will wait until over the weekend.

Thanksgiving Treat boxes

Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

The week is flying by and Thanksgiving will be here before we know it! Monday was my cleaning day which took me most of the day. Yesterday I had an appointment to see the dermatologist for a recheck of my rosacea & psoriasis. I am having good results with the doxycycline everyday for my rosacea and my psoriasis has been really mild. I have a really great dermatologist who was pleased with what he saw. I was in & out within 15 mins! I will return to see him in 1 year!

So today I am headed to my stamp table to work on some cards for my Christmas get together with the girls. Going to try to get 3 kits made today! LOL Wish me luck! I only have a few more little Christmas treats to wrap up and then I hope to get Audrey's December Cards started. Shawn has work tomorrow yet then he's off until Dec 2nd and we have lots to do while he's off.

The project I am sharing today was a treat box that I made for Thanksgiving that I will sit at everyone's table setting for dinner. Our dinner will most likely be around 5pm as Kelsey is working the restaurant that day and last seating is at 3pm. I also made an extra to give one to Audrey in her last card order. She has a sweet tooth so I know she will enjoy the treats!

Project Details:

Stamps: Autumn Leaves (Million Dollar Sales Achiever Set), Labeled With Love, Pleasant Pheasants (retired sentiment)
Ink: Crushed Curry, Pecan Pie, Old Olive, Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Basic White, Sweet Days of Autumn DSP, Oxidized Copper Specialty Paper
Accessories: Labeled With Love Dies, Autumn Leaves Dies, Cello Bags, Pecan Pie Ribbon (retired), Copper Metallic Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I made 6 of these for Thanksgiving and may use the same box for Christmas treats, too! I filled each bag with a Ghirardelli Milk Chocolate Caramel Apple & a Milk Chocolate Salted Caramel Squares with Caramel Apple Werther's Candy & 2 Dove Milk Chocolate & Caramel Candies. Alot of Fall yumminess in that bag!

Let It Snow Fun Fold

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
I spent most of that time working on my Christmas treats! I'm happy to say that they are very close to being done. Now i'm waiting on Audrey to get her card order to me for December so I can get them started. I also need to work on Christmas card kits for my stamp girls. I'm going to have them over in a few weeks to make some holiday cards and catch up with them before the holidays get too crazy!

Today I am sharing a set of those cool fun fold cards that I have been making like a crazy woman lately. I guess you could say that they are my new obsession. LOL I am using up the last bits & pieces of my 2019 pack of Stampin Up Let It Snow Specialty DSP. Each card in the set of 5 are different because of what scraps I had left. This was one of my most favorite papers!

Please excuse my hand in the bottom picture. I could not get the cards to lay flat to atleast get a decent picture.

Card Details:

Stamps: Itty Bitty Christmas (retired)
Ink: Real Red, Pool Party
Cardstock: Pool Party, Real Red, Basic White, Let It Snow Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Wintery 3D EF (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Tailor Made Tags Dies, Red Rhinestones (retired), White & Silver Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

For being the last of my Let It Snow scraps I do love how each card turned out!
I really think it's the Pool Party, Real Red and Basic White colors that make this so pretty! And my snowman on each card was diecut directly from the DSP using the Tailor Made Tags Dies.

Today is my cleaning day so I guess I better get to it! A long day awaits!

Nothing's Better Than...

Of course, Pumpkin Spice Season! LOL

Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I'm sorry for the late update today, it was a late night last evening and I never got around to getting my blog updated. Yesterday I mentioned that Shawn had a doctor appointment. It was at 7:30 pm and i'm not sure why he scheduled it that late since we are usually in bed by 8:30. We waited about 20 minutes as his doctor was running a bit behind which I get it. He also sounded like he was getting over a cold as his voice was sounding spent for the day. We had a good visit with him and then had to get some bloodwork before we left. Doctor was pleased that he has lost weight and his blood pressure was really good, too! We got home right around 8:45 and got ready for bed. I don't think neither of us slept well and felt a bit off this morning even though he had a great check up. I'm guessing because we were off our normal schedule.
Today he should get the results of his blood work which I am anxious to hear about. He's made alot of changes in his diet and we walk everyday so that's gotta be a good thing!

Anyways, my card for today is another one of those cool fun folds that I seem to be addicted to making! LOL They are quite easy to make and so fun to decorate!

Card Details:

Stamps: More Than Autumn (Million Dollar Sales Achiever Set)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Crumb Cake, Pecan Pie, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Reminisce Paper- Pumpkin Spice
Accessories: More Than Autumn Dies, Exposed Brick 3D EF, Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Pecan Pie Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Here is a picture of my newest addiction...

That is my Pumpkin Spice addiction!
I'm also making a homemade Pumpkin Pie for our Thanksgiving dinner.
My mom use to make the best pumpkin pies, ever! I'm so glad that I have her recipe! 💗

We did get rain yesterday but not much and at this point we'll take whatever we can get!
This morning the sun is just now starting to pop out so it's looking like a nice day ahead.
I'm working on laundry as it's my usual Friday chore and then need to do a quick trip to the grocery store this evening. Can you believe that we are less than 2 weeks away from Thanksgiving?! Time just flies anymore. Next Friday Shawn starts his vacation and i'm looking forward to some downtime & relaxing with him.

Fall Birthday Cards

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Burrr! There is definitely a chill in the air this morning!
The roofs have frost on them, too! I had to break out my winter coat yesterday to deliver a card order to Audrey. She looked really good even though I did not sit & chat with her like usual. Her son & family were coming for a visit so I did not stick around. The pack of cards I am sharing today is part of her order.

Card Details:

Stamps: Happiest Day
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, Splendid Autumn DSP
Accessories: Autumn Expressions Dies, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are flat for easy mailing and she loved them!

Sorry I have not been updating regularly. As with this time of year, life has been crazy!
I have been stamping and have a few different projects out on my stamp table at the moment. I have also made Thanksgiving & Christmas treats and cards. This time of year it gets hectic and my hands are hurting. I even started to pull out the ceramic Christmas trees and decorate the family room. Thankfully, it's finished and just need to do a good cleaning down there. The rest of my house will get decorated the day after Thanksgiving. Shawn has vacation that week so I will have an extra pair of hands to help.
For now i'm catching my breath and letting my hands rest.
Audrey said she will get her Christmas order to me soon.

 Good Morning & Happy Wednesday!

Today will be another day at the stamp table working on projects for Christmas. I never did start Audrey's order yesterday because I got side tracked by all the candy sitting on my table! LOL I made M&M Sticks and filled some of my other treat holders now that Christmas candy has made it's way to the shelves.
I have a set of Christmas cards to share today that I made from a Stamp A Stack class I bought last year and ran out of time to make them. Marisa over at Kitchen Table Stamper had these and I thought they were so cute. Here is my set...

Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla, Beary Christmas DSP (retired)
