Wonderful World HB

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

It's New Year's Eve....do you have any plans to bring in 2025?
No plans here and i'm sure we'll be in bed by 9pm. Yep, that's how we roll anymore! LOL
Christmas is packed away and my house is back to normal. I have my pork & sauerkraut ready for tomorrow's dinner which is a way to bring luck in the New Year. It also happens to be my favorite meal!
Today I am sharing a card I made with some retired products. I love just sitting down and using whatever I want. I have made the decision to step down from Stampin Up! at the end of the 2024-2025 catalog. I just have way to much stuff to use that seems like it just keeps building up! I love Stampin Up! and all their products but nothing seems to hang around long anymore and sometimes I feel like I don't get my money's worth out of my purchases.

Card Details:

Stamps: Label Me Bold (retired Million Dollar Achiever's Set)
Ink: Starry Sky
Cardstock: Starry Sky, Basic White, Wonderful World DSP (retired SaleABRation 2022)
Accessories: Everyday Details Dies, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have always loved this beautiful paper which was a SaleABRation offering in 2022. Lot's of springy flowers in it. Also there is a coordinating stamp set, too!

Stay safe and have a fun night if your celebrating!
I'll see you all tomorrow for my Year in Review!
Happy New Year's Eve!

Happy Birthday

 Hello & Happy Monday!

It's the last Monday of 2024 and I am getting things back to normal and posting some cards that I made a few weeks ago. A friend was looking to buy a variety of different occasion cards to use for Christmas gifts this year so I got busy making some cards for her to choose from.
This uses all retired products which I really enjoyed pulling out and using.

Card Details:

Stamps: Happiest of Birthdays (retired)
Ink: Just Jade (retired)
Cardstock: Just Jade (retired), Bumble Bee (retired), Basic White, Flower & Field DSP (retired SAB 21)
Accessories: Deckled Rectangles Dies, Bumble Bee In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Love the colors of this paper which made for a really nice birthday card!
Fortunately, I have an entire pack of this DSP in my stash and I will need to replenish my card rack eventually!

One Last Christmas Treat

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I hope you all had a nice holiday! We had a nice Christmas day! We had lots to eat, got out to take a walk and ended the day watching football. Our football team won the game that evening so that sweeten the day!
I took a break from blogging the last several days as we packed up all the ceramic trees, outside decorations and got the house back to normal. It sure is dark now without all the pretty lights but I was ready to get back to some normalcy!
That being said I do have 1 more Christmas treat to share then that will be all of the Christmas for now. This treat was a last minute call from Audrey on her last order. She wanted 3 little treats for some of her special friends...

I took out some gusseted cello bags that I had in my stash and put a piece of the Sentimental Christmas DSP in them. I filled each bag with lots of different peppermint candies and closed each bag with a gold clip. I then diecut the stocking from the DSP and used a dimensional to adhere it to the bag. I stamped the sentiment from the Sentimental Wishes stamp set in Shaded Spruce ink and diecut it with the Greetings of the Season Dies and attached that to the stocking. Once the bags were decorated I tied some Gold Trim Ribbon onto the tag. Easy peasy and she was pleased with them!

I have always loved these gusseted cello bags and sure wish Stampin Up still carried them. They do not carry any cello bags anymore.

So, there is the last of my Christmas offerings this year. It was a great year for my cards & treats! I have not done any crafting since then. I have not even touched my 2025 calendars yet either. Since Christmas is now packed away I may try to get to them this coming week. Shawn has been on vacation since Christmas so we will see if I make it back to my stamp table any time soon.
I hope you are doing well! We are having rain this morning & more to come this evening but we really need it so no complaining from me.

Happy Holidays!

I do pack my tree up like this except all the decorations come off first!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Merry Christmas One & All

 Merry Christmas!

Jesus is the reason for the season and sometimes I do think that gets lost in the hype of presents & gifts. I am reminded each year how precious life is and on occasions like this it does sting a bit because I miss my Dad so very much. Life does go on and I still keep him in a corner of my heart each & every day. The holidays can be tough when we are missing a special someone and I totally understand that these days.

I wish you all a very happy & blessed day ahead!
Today Kelsey & Shady are coming for dinner and opening gifts.
Then our Baltimore Ravens are playing at 4:30! I'm so looking forward to watching and celebrating with the kids!

Merry Christmas, friends!

We are headed over to Kelsey's to enjoy this Christmas Eve with her & Shady! I am so looking forward to it! I only had to make the deviled eggs....she is doing the rest!

I have a quick card to show you that I made with that cute Reindeer Fun bundle! I loved the variety of things that could be done with the stamp set & dies!

One deer was diecut from the DSP and the other was fussy cut which wasn't too bad!
The dancing reindeer just make me smile! So cute!

More Christmas Gift Cards

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you enjoyed a nice weekend!
I feel like it flew by so quick once again. Shawn has 2 days of work this week (yes, he has to work on Christmas Eve) and then he will be on vacation until January 2nd. We will work on getting all the ceramic trees & decorations put away while he's off but i'm in no hurry for it to go back to being dark.
Today I have a busy day so I'm going to share with you the last of the Christmas gift card holders I made then i'm headed to the kitchen to make deviled eggs for Christmas Eve at Kelsey's and cut up cheese & bologna.

I only needed 3 but made 4 just incase something came up and I needed one. The last one (poinsettia) will most likely go on my card rack for next year but I did say that I would make more as the year goes on so I don't have to rush to get them made. I sold quite a few gift card holders this year so that makes me smile!

I am not going to list all the products used on these cards so if you need to know anything please let me a comment and i'll get back to you with an answer.

Reindeer Fun

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today was a busy day but the wrapping is done and gifts are under the tree!
Last night we watched our Ravens win against the Steelers which was quite the surprise but I will say they played a great game!

Today I have a quick card to share that was made with the Reindeer Fun stamp set!

Card Details:

Stamps: Reindeer Fun
Ink: Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Reindeer Days DSP
Accessories: Reindeer Fun Dies, Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Red & White Twine, Adhesive Backed Peppermints, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love that Stampin Up! gives us dies that cut the reindeer from the DSP!
I have used that so much this season.

Ok, back to watching the Buffalo Bills & the New England Patriots game now.
I'll see y'all tomorrow!

Gift Card/Money Holders for Christmas

 Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

It's quite the cold & blustery day here in Pennsylvania after a day of snow yesterday! Burrr!
Winter arrived this morning and boy, did it ever! I said today I was going to hibernate and that is what the plan is! Groceries are bought and I got my wrapping paper & tape so i'm good to go!
Today I am sharing 6 gift card/money holders that I made up for Shawn's HR lady at work. I worked on these last Saturday and rather enjoyed making them!

I am not going to list everything I used in making these but if there is something you need to know please done hesitate to leave me a comment and I will reply.

I still have a few more gift card holders to make for gifts this weekend and other than that my Christmas crafts are pretty much wrapped up!

Hope you stay warm and enjoy the last few days before the Christmas holiday!

Simple Christmas Cards

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I hope your week is going well!
We are now less than a week away from Christmas and all I have left to do is some wrapping. I hope to get that done over the weekend after I pop out and grab some tape. It's suppose to get really cold again later today and my plan is to hibernate once the weekend gets here.
Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you that were simple to create and as usual I left the paper do all the work!

Card Details:

Stamps: PSX
Ink: Poppy Parade
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Basic White, Patterned Paper from Michael's
Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Isn't that paper so pretty? I grabbed 2 sheets of it back in the Fall one day we were out shopping. My plan was to make a pack of cards with one sheet and cover a notebook with the other. Never got around to making the notebook. Maybe next year! At this point my hands are shot and I am giving myself a few days to let them heal. Then I need to get a hop on getting my 2025 calendars made. That might be a weekend job too while I am hibernating!

New Home-Christmas Card

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

We are in for another rainy day which we really do need but I feel like lately we've had quite a few cloudy, dreary days! I loved the sunshine and 50's yesterday and I know they are short lived as we have some really cold temps coming! So, today I have another card to share that I made last week as part of Audrey's card order. She requested a card for her grandson & his wife that just bought their 1st home. She also asked if I could make it Christmas-y!
Oh boy, I had alot of fun with this one!

Card Details:

Stamps: Humble Home, Snowy Wonder, Inkadinkadoo
Ink: Garden Green, Versamark, Stampin Blends-Real Red, Garden Green
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Pecan Pie, Take A Bow DSP
Accessories: Snowy Wonder Dies, Humble Home Builder Punch, White Loose Snowflakes, Red & White Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As soon as she asked about a card for the new house my mine went right to the snow globe dies in the Snowy Wonder bundle and this worked out perfectly! The little wreath on the house was stamped colored and fussy cut, then placed on the house with a small dimensional. I loved everything about this card and so did Audrey!
I thought about making this a shaker card but I wasn't sure if Audrey was mailing this or not so I just left it as is. What do you think?

Sophisticated Sled Wreath Cards

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

A quick post this morning then, I have a few chores I need to finish up this morning.
I have a set of cards to share today that I made for Audrey as part of her Christmas card order. This one uses a set from the Online Exclusives list called Sophisticated Sled. It has coordinating dies and let me say that this set makes some beautiful cards! Audrey usually likes the wreaths or poinsettia's so I grabbed this set back in July and whipped this set up. I put these cards aside for her for when it was Christmas time and she loved them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sophisticated Sled (Online Exclusives), Greetings of the Season (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Old Olive, Stampin Blends-Old Olive, Real Red
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Season of Green & Gold DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Sophisticated Sled Dies (Online Exclusives), Greeting of the Season Dies (Online Exclusives), Gold Trim, Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

She was so taken with the little cardinal on the wreath! I'm surprised she has not asked for another pack of these! Speaking of Audrey, I will be seeing her this evening to pick up the Christmas candy treat basket and deliver her some birthday cards that she forgot to order on her last order. I hope my candy basket comes back empty!

Sentimental Christmas

 Good Morning & Happy Monday!

It's the start of a new week and that means I need to do some cleaning today. I also need to get my Christmas cards addressed and get in the mail. I wanted to do that yesterday but instead I relaxed and watched tv most of the day. We did a walk around the neighborhood last evening right after it started snowing. Surprisingly, it wasn't too cold out and the snow changed over to rain.
Today I have a set of Christmas cards to share with you that I made for Audrey using the Sentimental Christmas DSP. That suite of products reminded me of an old fashioned Christmas which sometimes is hard to find anymore. I loved the trees in this paper as well as the ribbon candy and the stockings. I kept these cards simple as Audrey does not like all the bells & whistles added to them. She really liked this set though and was pleased that they would mail flat.

Card Details:

Stamps: Brightest Glow (retired)
Ink: Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Basic Beige, Shaded Spruce, Sentimental Christmas DSP, Season of Elegance Specialty DSP
Accessories: Labels Aglow Dies (retired), Holiday Rhinestones (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hear my cup of coffee calling my name so I'm going to go enjoy that and get my day started. With a gloomy rainy day ahead I may need a second cup!

Love me some coffee!
