Sunrise Sailing Retirement

 Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today I have a cool card to share with you using a new bundle from the Stampin Up ! Online Exclusives list called Sunrise Sailing. Oh, this bundle is so nice....comes with photopolymer stamps which makes it easier to line up your images because you can see where your stamping plus it has matching dies & a hybrid embossing folder! I loved all the cards I have seen made with it so far. I made my card into a retirement card because my card rack is lacking them right now.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sunrise Sailing (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Secret Sea, Darling Duckling, Pecan Pie
Cardstock: Cloud Cover, Secret Sea, Basic White
Accessories: Sunrise Sailing Hybrid EF & Dies, Secret Sea Flat In Color Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Yesterday we went out and did some shopping in Lancaster. Shawn is on vacation until next Tuesday so I asked if we could take a day to get out and shop since it was a shower-y day. I picked up some goodies for around the house like 2 bath mats for Shawn's bathroom, a clear bin to keep my water packets in, a pot of greens for the front porch and found a bunch of great flavors of the Skinny Mixes syrups at Ross! All in all it was a great day shopping and a nice afternoon spent with my better half!

Not sure what's on the agenda today! LOL It may be odd jobs around the house or a walk on the rail trail or maybe a day of stamping....we shall see!

Celebratory Sips

Cheers to you & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

My hubby is officially on vacation for a few days. We have nothing planned as the weather is suppose to be rainy & gloomy. Not the way you'd like it to be with it being Memorial Day weekend but sometimes ya just have to take the good with the bad and move forward.
We have a few odd jobs around the house to pick at but not much else. Yesterday I did go to my stamp table to play instead of doing the laundry. LOL I played with the Darling Dino's, Ocean Friends and Latte Love but I want to share the one I made with the new Online Exclusives bundle called Celebratory Sips. A fun set with a set of pretty papers!

Card Details:

Stamps: Cheers & Sips (Online Exclusives), Inside Sentiment is retired, Darling Dino's (HB Sentiment)
Ink: Strawberry Slush
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Basic White, Cloud Cover, Celebratory Sips DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Exposed Brick 3D EF, Holographic Resin Dots (Online Exclusives), Strawberry Slush In Color Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I do love the colors & patterns in this pack of paper!
Lots that can be diecut directly from it as well. I fussy cut the fancy drink because there was not a die for that and it was quite easy & painless! LOL
I opened my new roll of Strawberry Slush Ribbon for this card. It reminds me of a mesh material and easy to work with. The Holographic Resin Dots are super pretty but a bit big which can bulk up the card when mailing. I will most likely use those on projects that won't get mailed.

Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a fabulous Friday!

Jungle Pals

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

This week seems to be flying by because we are almost to the weekend at this point!
I've been awake since 4:15 this morning so I thought maybe I would get a blog update posted. It's been a crazy, busy week and tomorrow Shawn is on vacation until next Wednesday. We have a few things around the house to focus on the next few days and maybe a bit of shopping in between. This past Tuesday Kelsey celebrated her 32nd birthday. I have no idea where the time has gone, seems like she was just 2! She had a wonderful birthday and all the girls she works with went above & beyond to make her day special! On Tuesday, I also got Audrey's card order delivered. She looked so good and was just so happy & upbeat! Her 4th great grandbaby was born on Sunday and she's tickled pink about that! Her family is growing by leaps & bounds. She always says she is very blessed and that she is!

The card I am sharing today is one that was on her card order that I just delivered to her. She requested it for her grandson whom just celebrated his 1st wedding anniversary. He is a Vet tech at at a local Vet office and loves all animals. The happy couple was going to the Bronx Zoo to celebrate their 1st wedding anniversary so she requested a card with zoo animals. I got right to work on this card and had it all planned out in my head. It turned out so CUTE!

Card Details:

Stamps: Jungle Pals (retired SAB 24),  Layers of Beauty (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, Shaded Spruce, Stampin Blends-Pumpkin Pie, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Smoky Slate
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Pool Party, Shaded Spruce, Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie, Basic White, Sunny Days DSP (retired SAB 24)
Accessories: Jungle Pals Dies (retired SAB 24), Assorted Glossy Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey loved it as much as I did and could not wait to give it to her grandson!
I was so happy to finally be able to use this fun stamp set & matching dies! It's not often I make kids cards but this set was just alot of fun!

Well, today is another dreary, damp, rainy day here in Pennsylvania. It's a great day if your a duck and it would have been nice to sleep in but no such luck happening for me. Today it's either gonna be laundry or creating at my stamp table. Which sounds more like fun!?

Today I may need that 2nd cup to get motivated! LOL
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day, even if it is raining!

I know it's been a few days since I last updated.
Life has certainly been life-ing!
I wanted to share the birthday card I made for Shawn's recent birthday. He loves to go fishing so that is where my mind went when it came down to creating his card. I pulled out lots of retired Stampin Up! products for this and will list them all in the card details below.

Card Details:

Stamps: Angler (retired), Papertreyink (sentiment)
Ink: Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow
Cardstock: Pecan Pie, Mossy Meadow, Very Vanilla, Let's Go Fishing DSP (retired)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Stylish Shapes Dies, Catch of the Day Thinlits (retired), Earth Tones Shimmer Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Always fun to pull out the old stuff and use it!

One More Year

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

It's been a very busy last few days and since we have a rainy day upon us I am taking it easy today! We did so much yard work over the weekend and every muscle in our body hurts just to even walk. It's tough when you use muscles you didn't know you had! LOL Thru it all we've still been getting our steps in with walking each day!

Today I wanted to share a card I was playing around with last week. As I was patiently waiting on my Stampin Up! order to arrive (the first order from the new catalog) I started playing with the NEW In Colors for 2025-2027. The new colors are, Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Secret Sea, Strawberry Slush and Timid Tiger. If you've been around Stampin Up for a number of years you may remember that Strawberry Slush was an In Color back in 2013-2015. It has made it's way back in to our color palette this year! It's a pretty color of pink and one that was much welcomed in my opinion. I do love that Stampin Up! is bringing back retired colors. I still have so many colors, inks & cardstocks in my stash from way back in 2001 and was thrilled that last year they brought back Pretty in Pink again! Anyways, here's a card that I was picking at one day last week using our new In Colors and I paired it with the now retired One More Year stamp set from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog.

Card Details:

Stamps: One More Year (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Pumpkin Pie, Cloud Cover, Darling Duckling, Timid Tiger, Strawberry Slush, Versamark
Cardstock: Cloud Cover, Secret Sea, Basic White, Darling Duckling, Strawberry Slush, Timid Tiger
Accessories: Dotted Circles 3D EF, Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Heat Gun, White Embossing Powder, White Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Cloud Cover In Color Flat Pearls, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was inspired by a card that Ange McKay created with using the In Color cardstocks & the Dotted Circles 3D EF for that background panel. I loved how her card turned out & had to give it a try! It's quite colorful!

Well, I need to get my day started even though I was up at 4am.
Breakfast is calling and so is my stamp table!

Sending Love & Best Wishes

 Happy Saturday, Friends!

Today I am hoping to get outside and clean up my flower beds and get a fresh new layer of mulch put down. I don't think it will take too long as we only have 2 small beds. It's suppose to be a nice, sunny day!
My cards today are from the Painted Lavender bundle that just retired. This was one of my favorite suites! The DSP has carried over once again which is great because I had 2 packs of this paper to begin with. I will keep picking at it until I can get it used up. I made 2 cards, both the same which I put away in bins for now. Once my card rack gets emptied out I will start adding cards to it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Painted Lavender (retired), Perennial Postage (retired)
Ink: Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Highland Heather, Basic White, Perennial Lavender DSP
Accessories: Painted Lavender Dies (retired), Perennial Postage Dies, Paper Butterfly Accents (retired), Purple Shimmer Gems, Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside of my card says Happy Mother's Day!
I am sad that most of the Perennial Lavender Suite is retired but as I always say, it will live on in my craft room!

Roses in Winter

 Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!!

A gloomy, rainy start to the weekend but our weather is to improve for Mother's Day weekend! YAY! Today is my dear sweet hubby's birthday! I have a card for him that I will share one day next week so stay tuned for that!
Happy Birthday, Buppie (aka Shawn)!! 💗🎊🎈🎉

Today I have a special card to share that I was asked to make for a friends Mom. She is very close with her mom and wanted something special to give her on Mother's Day. I was happy to help!
I was told she loves flowers, teddy bears and the color burgundy which those hints helped SO much in creating a card for her. I went in search of a special set and found 2 that fit the bill beautifully....Tea Together & Roses in Winter! Both sets are long retired but you know, they still live on in my stamp room!

Every single product used on this card is now retired and I found it so enjoyable to sit and create this! Roses in Winter has always been a favorite of mine. I had the stamp set years ago (2003 to be exact when it arrived in our Stampin Up! Annual Catalog) and when we made the move to Missouri in 2010 I sold it. Many years later I seen it for sale at L&L Stamps and purchased it for alot less than it originally sold for. I was so thrilled to have it back in my collection and I will say that this card made me smile! I hope my friend loves it and that her mom loves it even more! Thanks Shannon, for asking me to make it for you!

Card Details:

Stamps: Roses in Winter (retired), Tea Together (retired)
Ink: Merry Merlot (retired), Mellow Moss (retired)
Cardstock: Merry Merlot (retired), Mellow Moss (retired), Basic White
Accessories: Dashing Dots 3D EF (retired), Square Layering Framelits (retired), Rhinestones, Burgundy Sheer Ribbon (retired), Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love pulling out my very old stuff and breathing new life into them again!
This one just makes me smile!

Stippled Roses for Mother's Day

Good Morning & Happy Thursday, Friends!

It's been an insanely busy week and I for one am happy to see the weekend coming!
We are in for rain later today and a very cold, damp, rainy day tomorrow. I am planning on being in my craft room to get some cards made since I haven't had much time this week to do so.
I have a Mother's Day card to share with you today that I made with the now retired Stippled Roses bundle. It is such a pretty set but one that I have not used too much. I recently pulled it out to create cards for Audrey and then since it as still laying out on my table I decided to make a Mother's Day card with it. I paired it with some Online Exclusives DSP called On the Go.

Card Details:

Stamps: Stippled Roses (retired)
Ink: Strawberry Slush, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Pretty in Pink, Granny Apple Green
Cardstock: Strawberry Slush, Pretty in Pink, Basic White, On the Go DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Stippled Roses Dies (retired), Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (retired), Pretty in Pink Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My plan was to make enough Mother's Day cards to send to a few friends this year but that did not happen. This past week totally got away from me. Hopefully next year I can be more prepared for it!

Happy Birthday Wildflowers

 Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you had a good weekend!
It's an early morning for me as I have a ton of things on my agenda today!

I have an "oh so pretty" card to share with you that I made with the Wildflower Birthday DSP which is just the prettiest mix of prints, colors and it has some Gold Foil thrown in it too!!

Card Details:

Stamps: Labeled with Love
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Soft Seafoam, Pretty in Pink
Cardstock: Soft Seafoam, Basic White, Wildflower Birthday DSP
Accessories: Labeled with Love Dies, Party Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love that Stampin Up has been giving us these packs of DSP with 2 sheets of punchouts to use for either scrapbooking or card making. It certainly makes card making go a whole lot faster! The flowers & saying on the inside are from the Labeled with Love stamp set which sadly will be retiring after today. It's a wonderful set and one that I have used quite a bit in the last year!

Definitely going to be my kind of day!

Delicate Forest

 Happy Sunday, Friends!

Hope your enjoying a nice weekend!
Last night we had some hefty thunderstorms come thru.
Lots of rain & crazy winds but we really need the rain so no complaints from me.
Today I have a card that was made with the soon retiring Delicate Forest Bundle. This is one of those sets that really doesn't jump out at you in the 2024-2025 Stampin Up! Annual Catalog but I will tell you it has some pretty cool dies even though I did not use them on this card. I have had it for quite awhile but have not used it until recently.

Card Details:

Stamps: Delicate Forest
Ink: Pool Party, Pretty Peacock
Cardstock: Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Basic White, Poetic Expressions DSP (retired)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Countryside Corners Dies, Pool Party Gems (retired), Pretty Peacock/Gold Ribbon, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I was trying something different with the torn edge on my card. I wanted to do the Pretty Peacock cardbase but thought it would not look right so I left it go. I may go back and do that with it to see if I like it. Any thoughts?

Wildflower Birthday Suite

 Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!!

It's been feeling summer like here in Pennsylvania the last several days which I am loving the warmer temps! We've been busy running errands the last 2 evenings so we haven't had a chance to get in any walks. I'm hoping this evening we can!

Today I am sharing a card that I made recently with the Wildflower Birthday Suite from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog. This is the perfect set for creating any birthday cards! It has different sayings so you can create the sentiment that you want plus there are number dies that you can also use to personalize your card. The Wildflower Birthday DSP has 2 pages of punchouts that can be used for card making or scrapbook pages. This suite is one of the nicest and worth every cent!

On this card I left the DSP do all the work on the front and used the stamps for the inside. The floral panel is a tag that is part of the DSP pack that I cut down and used for my focal point. I paired this card with some Peach Pie & Blueberry Bushel cardstocks & ink.

So pleased with how this card turned out!

Card Details:

Stamps: Birthday Celebrations
Ink: Blueberry Bushel, Peach Pie, Pretty in Pink, Pool Party, Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Peach Pie, Blueberry Bushel, Basic White, Wildflower Birthday DSP
Accessories: Perennial Postage Dies, Tasteful Textile 3D EF (retired), Peach Pie Ribbon, Party Dots, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Lots more to come from this suite!
