Hello & Happy Monday!
Busy morning here at the Aungst Pad.
Shawn just left to drop Bailee Boo off at the Vet's for her procedure today. You probably remember me telling you that since we had her (a month & 5 days now) she has had an odd cough & lots of wheezing. She's quite congested but you really would not know anything was wrong because she is a spunky, fun loving little girl. Friday, she had a recheck after 2 bouts of antibiotics & a steroid neither of which have done much. Today they are sedating her and going thru her mouth down to her lungs for samples of the fluid so they know how to treat her. I'm worried thinking about it but I guess that's what we mama's do! So today to take my mind off of it, I will be in the kitchen baking for our Thanksgiving this week. Pumpkin pies & pumpkin rolls are on the menu!
In the meantime, I have a card to share with you for today's Merry Monday Challenge.
Lesley has been giving us some pretty awesome challenges to help us get our Christmas cards made so here goes!!
I'm usually pretty challenged when it comes to making a CAS style card and especially one that is solid white. I sat & stewed on this one for quite some time! Who would have thought that a CAS style of card would stump a person??!! Well, it did me but I got thru it!
My card base is Neenah White with another layer of white cardstock stamped with my Merry Christmas sentiment and I had a white snowflake already punched in my stash that I added with a dimensional. I still thought it looked plain and grabbed a button from my drawer and added a piece of twine. I love how country-ish it looked after that!
Merry Monday Week #85 Card:
Stamps: Sentiment from All Year Cheer
Ink: Kraft/Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Neenah White
Accessories: Marvy Snowflake Punch, Button, Twine, Dimensional, Glue Dot, Liquid Mono Glue
Hope you can stop by Lesley's blog to see what the other Merry Makers have created this week. So many pretty idea's for inspiration!
Well, that is all for me today!
I'll give an update tomorrow on Bailee Boo. Please say a little prayer for her today if you wouldn't mind. I'm hoping all goes smoothly and she returns home later today.
Off to the kitchen I go!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
