Wood Textures DSP

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

A rainy day is on tap here in south central PA.
As much as I am ready for warmer temps and brilliant sunshine, I will take rain over snow.
Yesterday morning we had snow which did not last long and melted before late afternoon. Shawn & I actually got our bikes out last evening and did a 3 mile bike ride on the Rail Trail. It was cloudy and a bit chilly out but it felt great to get out and ride!
Saturday & Sunday we actually were out on the Rail Trail but walked it with the dogs. While walking Shawn has been finding these painted rocks. Have you heard about the new rage of Painting Rocks and people hiding them along the rail trails? He has found 6 rocks in 2 days. I found one a few weeks ago at our local grocery store. Once you find the rocks they usually have details on the back on them as to where to look on Facebook and then you can re-hide them for someone else to find. Kids love this and it encourages people to get out and exercise. I know when I found a rock it made me smile!

So today I have a masculine card to share.
I created this card to share with my friends when we had our stamp day.

This was a quick & easy card to create with my friends and everyone needs masculine cards!
I left the DSP do most of the work and just added some Linen Thread and the sentiment.

Card Details:

Stamps: Big on Birthdays
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories: Linen Thread, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was an easy one to create especially for someone who struggles to make masculine cards.
Sometimes you just have to let the paper do all the work!

My thoughts today....

If you have to venture out in the rain today, stay warm & dry!
I am going to try to hit the stamp table today since it's been a week since I stamped anything.
Time to get back at it!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

I used the rainy morning to snuggle in bed and read! LOL Now I hope to get in the stamp room and try to be creative, with an audio book as company of course! Perfect masculine card! I need to come up with a few Father's Day ones here soon.

I spent most of the day going through things in this craft room and pulling catalogs and magazines and prepping for recycling. I wish I'd have stamped instead because now I have a PILE of paper shredding to attend to! LOL Great card for the gentlemen - I just got some of this paper last week and have yet to open it and play with it :) Stay dry! After the heat wave tomorrow, there is more of that ---- on the way for the weekend and another -yes, ANOTHER NorEaster heading our way for next week. CRA CRA weather!

Great manly card! I finally opened a pack of this DSP over the weekend to use in my hubby's scrapbook. It worked perfectly for some hiking pictures.
