Sweet & Spooky Kit

 Hello & Happy Thursday, Friends!

Today I am sharing the last Halloween Treat for 2025.
I used Stampin Up!'s Sweet & Spooky Kit from the Online Exclusives. I seen how cute they are and that was it! I put these together and added Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkins, Ghosts & Bats to them. I picked up a huge bag at Sam's Club. These boxes are a really nice size and hold alot!

I just loved this kit and hope that every year they bring out something like this! It definitely helps on getting some treats made! I love the colors & patterns on the boxes and SO easy to put together! There is no stamping, just punchouts that attach to the box with adhesive. It comes with paper clips, twine and some sparkly stars! I thought about grabbing another one but 15 is enough for me.

Our weather today is to be another rainy, dreary day. It is also the Celebration of Life services here in Red Lion for the 3 police officers that were killed in the line of duty last week. It's been pretty somber around here. Quite a few roads will be shut down for the funeral procession at certain times too today, so I warned Shawn of that in his travels home this evening. Please continue to keep the families in your prayers.

Peppermint Patties Little Treat Boxes

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

Halfway thru the week already!
Last evening as we headed to deliver Audrey's card order, the sky got dark and the thunder & lightening started. It poured buckets the whole way to her house! Once we arrived at her house I had to wait about 10 minutes before heading to her door because it was raining so hard. I visited with her about 30 minutes and we had our usual chats about the Halloween candy treats & her card order. She looked great and was in good spirits, too!

Today I have another quick Halloween treat to share with you using retired products. I used the Little Treat Box Dies from a few years ago and filled my box with 2 York Peppermint Patties. I only grabbed 1 bag of the peppermint patties this year and used 3/4 of it for my treats. I personally love them and I know Audrey does too!

Project Details:

Stamps: Little Treats (retired)
Ink: Rich Razzleberry (retired)
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Basic Black, Plaid Tidings DSP (retired)
Accessories: Little Treat Boxes Dies (retired), Halloween Magic Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Rich Razzleberry Enamel Stars (retired), Black & White Ribbon (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

On this treat holder I only had to adhere everything together as most of it was already diecut from a previous project which made things go alot quicker. I do love this little treat box holder as it is perfect to hold the York Peppermint Patties. I may use it again for Christmas treats since it's a nice size. It's one of those bundles that I do not think I will ever part with and it's filled with different holidays!  I have used it lots over the years and have gotten my money's worth out of it!

So, today we are in for more rain but I hope it doesn't come until after I get a quick run to the store this evening. Ryan has been under the weather with a cold and I need to grab him more cold medicine. Hope he soon gets to feeling better!

More Than Autumn Apple Candies

Hello & Happy Tuesday & the 1st full day of Autumn!

I love this time of year for the cooler, crisp air and the color changing on the leaves. To be honest, we've not had much hot weather in the last month or so which I will not complain about. It's been rather pleasant and nice enough to have the windows open. We walk every day and can see small changes with the leaves already happening and some have already dropped to the ground. They say warm days and cool nights make this change happen.

Today I have a sweet treat holder to share that I made for a few friends. I recently found the Werther's Caramel Apple Soft Chews at the grocery store. I grabbed a bag to do some fun little treats. I used some small self adhesive bags that were in my stash. I was able to fit 3 candies in each bag. I found a pack of Whisper White tags that were diecut and all I had to do was punch them from the paper to use for these. I must have had them 20+ years. LOL I grabbed my More Than Autumn bundle and got to work!

Project Details:

Stamps: More Than Autumn, Sweets & Treats (Candy Apple-retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Real Red, Pecan Pie, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Pecan Pie & Real Red
Cardstock: Whisper White Punch Out Tags (retired), Basic White
Accessories: More Than Autumn Dies, Real Red Shimmer Ribbon, Crumb Cake Twine, Real Red Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Looking back on these now I wish I would have made my apples green to match the wrapper on the candy. Maybe I will make more and do just that! LOL
I gave these out to a few friends to wish them a great day! Hope it made them smile!

Today I am headed to my stamp table for a little bit. I have a quick order to finish up and then this evening I will be delivering it to Audrey along with the Halloween treat basket. I just hope we can get there and back home before we get any storms that they are calling for.  It's suppose to be a rainy/cloudy kind of week but this morning the sun is shining beautifully! It's definitely helping with my mood.

Trick or Treat Boxes & Meeting Sushi

Hello & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you all had a nice weekend! We had a good weekend. Yesterday Shawn & Kelsey went to a local lake to use the paddleboards and even though it was a cloudy day they both said they enjoyed it! Afterwards Kelsey brought over her new puppy which she named, Sushi. We finally got a chance to meet him but Bailee wasn't too sure what to make of the hyper little thing. She steered clear of him. Hopefully in time she will get use to him. Here are a few pictures of him...

He is 9 weeks old and doing pretty fabulous with eating & going potty but he is starting to chew on things. He kept going after my slippers and then after my shoes strings on my sneakers. He is the size of a man's hand and reminds me of being a teacup but oh so cute!

Anyways, today I have another Halloween treat to share with you. I have such a huge supply of bags & boxes in my storage cabinet so I pulled out these boxes from a few years ago and decorated a few with the Spooky Sweet Halloween bundle and added a Kit Kat & A Twix bar to each one. 2 of my favorite candies! Yum!

Project Details:

Stamps: Spooky Sweet (Online Exclusives), Fright Night (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Memento Black, Granny Apple Green, Stampin Blends-Crumb Cake, Granny Apple Green, Pumpkin Timid Tiger, Petunia Pop
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Spooky Sweet DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Sweet Little Boxes (retired), Spooky Sweet Dies (Online Exclusives), Fright Night Dies (Online Exclusives), Timid Tiger Ribbon, Petunia Pop In Color Shimmer Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

They turned out to be quick & easy and I love that I can get 2 bite sized candy bars inside. They happen to be my favorites!

Iridescent Treat Bags for Halloween

 Hello & Happy Saturday, Friends!

Hope the start of your weekend is off to a great start!
The sun is shining and we are in for a lovely day here in south central Pennsylvania!

Before I get into anything crafty I just wanted to touch base quickly on the deadly shooting that happened here this past week where 5 police officers were shot. 3 of which have passed away and 2 others are hospitalized. This happened very close to us (a few towns over) and that day is one that people will never forget. So sad & so senseless these shootings. My thoughts & prayers are with the families of these officers. I just cannot fathom what they are going thru. This has sat heavily on my mind these last several days and just added to the grief I have been feeling the last few weeks. I am one who has always been a worrier and this incident has just added to my worry. The last few days our weather has been absolutely gorgeous which usually puts a spring on my step but I have felt defeated. I'm trying to pour my heart into crafting but it's just been tough. My hope is with time it will get easier to move forward. Please keep these families in your thoughts & prayers as this community has suffered a terrible loss.

Today I am sharing with you another Halloween treat that I whipped up recently using the Iridescent Treat Bags from the Stampin Up! Online Exclusive list. I have had these since maybe July and waited for the Halloween candies to hit the shelves before I decided what to do with them. I found at Sam's Club a box of the Halloween Oreo cookies and put a pack of them inside each bag. I decorated them and have 20 of these for sale. Audrey loves these cookies to give to the little ones so I know she will want a bunch of these. Here is what I made and I know my pictures are a little rough because of the Iridescent on the bags but they are pretty cool and quite different from anything that we've ever had before.

Project Details:

Stamps: Party Celebrations (Online Exclusives), Fright Night (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Memento Black
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Petunia Pop, Basic Black, Basic White
Accessories: Iridescent Treat Bags (Online Exclusives), Fright Night Dies (Online Exclusives), Foam Stars (Online Exclusives), Petunia Pop Iridescent Ribbon (Online Exclusives), Handheld Hole Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another quick & easy project with the help of the cello bags!

2025 Halloween M&M Sticks

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

We had a beautiful day here yesterday and today is also looking to be just as nice!
I spent most of yesterday in my stamp room finishing up the Halloween treats. I just need to make a price list yet. The last treats I made was the famous M&M Sticks. Stampin Up! use to carry the 1 x 8 Cello bags but retired them a few years back so now I get them off of Ebay. I have a customer who loves getting these and handing them out, so I do make sure to have them for almost every holiday! This years Halloween M&M's were not the pretty bright colors they have been the last several years (purple, green & orange) but are orange & black. At first I was not gonna get them but I figured Jane would be sad if I did not have them. I grabbed 2 bags and started filling my cello bags. I got 24 sticks from those 2 bags and I decorated them with lots of retired product! Take a look...

Just look at all those happy little ghosts! Super sweet & not at all scary!

Project Details:

Stamps: Spooky Cat (retired 2017)
Ink: Memento Black
Cardstock: Basic Black, Basic White, Pumpkin Pie
Accessories: Greetings of the Season Dies (retired 2024), Frightful Tags Dies (retired 2021), Tricks & Treats Dies (2023), Halloween Twine (retired), Dimensionals

It's a good thing I enjoy making these because I fill tons of these cello bags every year! And besides....we doesn't love M&M's?!

Stay tuned for more Halloween treats in the coming days, ok?

Happy Thanksgiving

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Friends!

The week seems to be flying by! I've been trying to stay focused & busy but at the same time I am still struggling coming to terms with the loss of Mr. Shady. I've tried being encouraging with Kelsey the whole time she has been caring for him all the while having that deep down feeling in my stomach that he was not going to get any better. Our pets are only here on earth for a short time which is the hardest part. They bring so much joy until that very last day.

Kelsey is still struggling with the loss as well but she did get herself a new puppy last week. Another Jack Russell Terrier boy puppy that she named Sushi. It is keeping her mind busy but she still has her moments when the thought of Shady being gone hits. I have not met the new puppy yet and maybe that is what I need to do to move forward.
One day at a time...

Last evening I got Audrey's card order delivered to her. I walked into her dining room and that is where we usually sit to look at the cards and talk but her table was covered with tons and I mean TONS of birthday cards! Last Friday she turned 95 years young and she was certainly blessed with MANY wishes! She had her cancer treatment last Thursday then Friday & Saturday was loaded with lots of visits from friends & family. She is certainly a very blessed woman inside & out and I am honored to know her.

Today I have a card to share that I made for Thanksgiving. I am trying to get ahead so I have cards to send out. I said I feel like I am stuck in the mud so if I can get some cards made for upcoming holidays I will be happy! This card uses most things retired because we all have retired things, right?

Card Details:

Stamps: Painted Pheasant (retired sentiment), Words of the Season (2025 Holiday Mini Catalog)
Ink: Cajun Craze
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Very Vanilla, All About Autumn DSP (retired), Oxidized Copper Foil Specialty Paper (retired)
Accessories: Leaf Fall 3D EF (retired), Autumn Leaves Dies (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Neutrals Adhesive Backed Sequins, Ribbon (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The All About Autumn DSP was out 2 years ago and was a fan favorite by everyone. I had 2 or 3 packages of it that I will be working on using up in the future. It's probably one of the most gorgeous Fall papers that Stampin Up! has ever had. I guess you can say that Copper Foil in it is what drew me to it. I love the pop of shine!

Scary Cute Trick or Treaters

 Hello & Happy Tuesday, Friends!

Today I have a few things at my stamp table to work on then I'm headed to Audrey's this evening to drop off her card order. We are coming into the busy time of year with 3 holidays right in a row plus lots of treats, too! I am still working on Halloween candies and will share them soon!

Today I have cards to show you that I made for 3 of Audrey's 5 great grandchildren. The 3 older ones will be trick or treating this year so I decided to pull out a retired set called Scary Cute. I semi cased a card I seen on Facebook which I have no idea who created it. I was taken with all the little colorful circles then decided to add my little trick or treaters to the mix of circles...

Card Details:

Stamps: Scary Cute (retired), Potions & Spells (retired- sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, Gorgeous Grape
Cardstock: Basic Black, Pumpkin Pie, Gorgeous Grape, Lemon Lime Twist, Basic White
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Scary Silhouette Dies (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Gorgeous Grape Glossy Dots (retired), Black & White Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I love how these turned out and hope Audrey will love them, too!

Bright Borders

Good Morning & Happy Monday, Friends!

Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! They seem to go by so quickly!
I have been under the weather the last 2 days with what started as a sore throat. Our weather has been lovely and so I thought with sleeping with the windows open is what might be causing it. A friend mentioned Covid to me last evening. I never thought it could be that and I certainly hope not. I am on day 3 of a sore throat and my sinuses are just draining constantly. I have no other symptoms but I will take a Covid test today to see.

Anyways, I have a pretty birthday card to share with you today that I made a few weeks ago. I told you that I am so behind with sharing my cards. I used the recently retired Bright Borders stamp set from the 2025 Spring Mini Catalog for this one. It coordinates with the To The Point Punch.

Card Details:

Stamps: Bright Borders (retired), Sky's the Limit (retired SAB 2016), Unbounded Beauty (inside sentiment)
Ink: Pool Party, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Pool Party, Basic White, Floral Delight DSP
Accessories: To the Point Punch, Eyelet 3D EF, Daffodil Delight Ribbon (retired), Pool Party Shimmer Gems (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This paper, the Floral Delight Designer Series Paper is just gorgeous! It is one of my favorites with such springy colors! I'm on my second pack of it!
