Hello & Happy Sunday, friends!
Today while watching football I sat at my stamp table and decided to make a card that I have been wanting to make except that my MS Fern Punch had broken on me out in Joplin and I have not been able to find one to replace it. Then I had seen my friend, Carol, from over at Our Little Inspirations posted a card awhile back that I commented on and wished I was able to find that punch to make that card. She kindly emailed me and sent me a link as to where I could purchase that punch. I was so grateful!!! :) I had waited a few weeks till Christmas was over to go and order the punch. I actually ordered 2 so I would not ever have to worry about finding another one! LOL My punches arrived this past week and I have been thinking about that card ever since! Today was the day I tried my hand at it....take a look!

I love the look of the wreath on the door and incase your wondering about the shiny gold piece at the bottom....it reminded me of a gold plated kick plate that are on the bottom of doors and I thought the bottom just needed something! I added little gold beads on the wreath that was punched out with the MS Fern Punch and used a bigger gold bead for the door knob. Lastly, I added a scrap piece of gold metallic ribbon and my sentiment and called it down!
What do you think of it? I love it! And the best part is...it did not take long to make!
Another Christmas card for my pile! :)
Door Wreath Card:
Stamps: Sentiment from Penny Black
Ink: Tim Holtz Antique Linen, Chocolate Chip

Well, that's all for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

It is amazing!! I LOVE it!!
Oh Wendy, I'm so glad you got your punches! Your card is so pretty, and I LOVE the brass kick plate you added! I wondered for some time who was going to be the first to add one and ding ding ding! Apparently it's you! Nice job!!
{and thanks for the shout-out} :)
Very cool card! Those wreaths are so fun to make!
Don't you just love that punch? Just recently, I too, purchased this punch. Your wreath idea is fantastic and the card if fabulous. TFS.
How adorable!! I love this card. I could never find that punch either, so I had to settle for a similar punch from another company. I still like this fern sprig better. This is another one of your cards that took my breath away!
Wow:) How adorable is that. Nan and I thought we may be able to get a notebook covering and wreath making class now...................
Keep up the great work.
Really like how you did this! Very nicely done!
I think it turned out great! I like the touches of gold.
