Merry Monday Challenge Week #39

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

It's time for another fabulous sketch from the talented, Lesley, from over at Always Playing With Paper. She gave us another great sketch to help us get those Christmas cards made because after all, Christmas is only a few short weeks away! I'm happy to say that I have a nice stack a cards all ready to go for this year! All I have to do is address them, stick a postage stamp on and i'm done! With the holidays coming so quickly, I don't think i've ever felt this stress free in years!

Here is Lesley's sketch and my sample.....

Merry Monday Week #39 Card:

Stamps: Peddler's Pack Snowflakes Background, Sentiment from Penny Black
Ink: Island Indigo, Versamark, White EP
Cardstock: Island Indigo, Pool Party, Neenah White, Silver Glimmer Paper, Festival of Prints DSP
Accessories: Snow Burst EF, Circle & Pinking Circle Nestibilities, Rhinestones, 2 Sided Tape

Hope you can find some time to pop over to Lesley's blog to see what the other Merry Makers have created this week! Lots of great idea's!

Well we are bracing ourselves this week for Hurricane Sandy! We've been preparing all weekend by cooking and getting the laundry done. Hoping for the best but prepared for the worst. Let's hope she comes and goes, quick! They are calling for flooding, winds and power outages. Hope everyone in Hurricane Sandy's path stays safe this week!

Well, that is all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

Your card looks so beautiful with those shades of aqua and silver sparkle! Nice job on this one!
I hope you come through Sandy's wrath unscathed. Hang in there and stay safe!

Just beautiful, Wendy! You've used that snowflake stamp in a wonderful way---the colors are gorgeous! We are still just getting rain here, hoping for the best. Kinda scary though!

what a ♥GORGEOUS♥ card & such a terrific take on the sketch! i love the colors, and especially the way you've echoed the "snow" motif throughout the whole card, with flakes, and texture, and circles and glitter--AWESOME!!! ♥
