Masculine HB

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Another cold day here in south central PA! Our weather has been crazy with very windy conditions, thunderstorms and now today it's snowing!! Yes, you read that right! They are predicting up to 3 inches and it's to snow most of the day. With any luck it will just lay on the trees and grassy area's and not the streets. They say this will be our onion snow (which means the last of the season). Warmer and more spring temperatures are to come this coming week, hopefully!

So, today I am sharing a masculine birthday card I made for my customer, Audrey. She requested a birthday card for her son. I really wasn't sure which direction to go in since I do not know him personally and she gave me no hints on anything about him. So, I found a small piece of this plaid paper from the Adventure Bound DSP Pad from last spring. It's the perfect paper for a man's card. I decided I was going to pull out this scenery stamp from Stampscapes that I have had for many years and it just stamps perfectly!

Here is the card...

Since I only found a small piece of this paper I decided to make a Z Fold type of card.
I delivered her card order and Audrey just loved this card! I don't think I have ever seen her that excited! She continued to tell me that her son owns a log cabin in the woods and that this card was perfect for him. Well, that just made my day!

I think I need to go on a hunt for more of this paper. Sadly, I am almost out.

Happy Birthday Masculine Card:

Stamps: Stampscapes, Express Yourself (retired hostess)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Cajun Craze, Early Espresso, Whisper White, Adventure Bound DSP Pad
Accessories: Oval & Scallop Oval Punches, Early Espresso Twine, Dimensionals, 2 Sided Tape

That's all I have for today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

You have been quite busy on your blog, Wendy! I adore this masculine card! Plaid seems to always work, and that is one of my very favorite Stampscapes Stamps. It is a go to stamp for sure. Hope you are all cozy-ed in from this freakish snow.

Great card! Masculine cards are always hard for me. I've had this stamp for forever & will get it out again! It's so great how you didn't know this man had a cabin & made a cabin card! Have a great day!
