Hello & Happy Monday!
Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
It got pretty cold here this past weekend and we even had some snow! Not much but enough to cover the ground yesterday morning! It's also very windy! A hang on to everything kind of day!
Anyways, before my day gets away of me I wanted to share some candy treats that I made for turkey day!
These are easy peasy with the 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags that Stampin Up is carrying this year.
Take a look...
These were quite simple to whip up using a piece of dsp measuring 2 3/4 x 9.
Then score at 1, 3 and 7 1/2.
The dsp slides down inside the cello bag and will hold the candy treat nicely while letting the bag stand. I added my Circle and Scallop Circle with the sentiment on it with dimensionals. Just have to make sure you have the dimensionals up far enough that they don't stick on the bag. Then I added a gold clip from Michael's to the top to keep my bag closed.
Happy Thanksgiving Cello Treat Bag:
Stamps: Sentiment is an old Michael's $1 Bin Stamp
Ink: Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist
Cardstock: Whisper White, Early Espresso, Tangelo Twist, Into the Woods DSP
Accessories: Circle & Scallop Circle Punches, 3 x 6 Gusseted Cello Bags, Leaf Button, Gold Clips from Michael's, Early Espresso Stitched Ribbon, Tangelo Twist Thick Twine, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
These were filled with Twix, Kit Kats and Reese's PB Cups!
If your looking for something quick & easy to whip up......these are it!
I will be doing these for Christmas too! SO fun!

These are adorable! I love the easy way everything slips inside the cello bags! Very clever! And it is good to see some of last year's DSP being used, LOL!
I love seeing all of your Thanksgiving treats. I wish I had the need to make some of these. They are gorgeous, Wendy.
Oh my gosh, these are so cute Wendy! How do you make all these treat packages without dipping into the chocolate? LOL I found that I had to pre-cut all the labels and treat bags/tops before opening that bag of candy - otherwise it's one for the bag, one for me! LOL Have fun baking that pumpkin pie - I'm going to make my cheesecake later today, because it always tastes better after it sits a few days in the fridge. Stay warm - It's so cold in the house today! Brrrrrr
These are so cute,I LOVE how simple but so effective!!!!!
