Get Well Soup, Card #3 from Stamp Day

Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY, Friends!

So glad the weekend is upon us! They are calling for some gorgeous weather tomorrow and I am hoping (fingers crossed) to get outside to clean leaves from the rain gutters and get the yard looking ready for spring! Shawn is planning on going fishing in the morning then once he's done we will get started on the yard. I hope you get a chance to get out & enjoy the nice weather, too!

Today I am sharing with you the 3rd card we made at my recent Stamp Day w/ Friends get together. Deb made the comment that we needed some Get Well cards so this one was made just for her suggestion. This winter has been pretty harsh with colds, flu and Covid so I decided to pull out an oldie but a goodie to make this card. This one is a wood mounted stamp called Get Well Soup that I have hardly ever used and it worked nicely!

Card Details:

Stamps: Get Well Soup
Ink: Island Indigo (retired)
Cardstock: Island Indigo (retired), Mint Macaron (retired), Basic White, Blooms & Bliss DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Mint Macaron Shimmer Ribbon (retired), Iridescent Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I loved how our cards turned out for this one, just wish the stamp would stamp a bit clearer. I even took a sanding block over the rubber in hopes it would pick up ink better but did not have much luck with that. I also stamped on our foam mat to see if it helped but not by much. I think it's just how it's suppose to be.
I do wish Stampin Up! would give us more of these kind of stamps for particular occasions. It's been awhile since we've had single stamps like this. When I was cleaning out my stamps a few weeks ago and inventoried everything, I found a bunch of single stamps from 2013 that are Christmas stamps. I loved those and wish SU! would still give us those kind. They were the best!

My thoughts today...

Yes we do!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
