Color Challenge 308

Hello again!

I'm back real quick to share my card from today's Color Challenge over at SCS. The colors are: River Rock, Basic Gray & White. At first I wasn't real keen on the color choices but now I think I like it! :)

Below is my card samples....

I decided to go with another masculine card, this one for my hubby. Even though we probably had 6 inches of snow of the ground this morning he still went to work. The boss man is back in York, PA for meetings so he's is in charge. Only 2 other people made it to work so they worked alittle then decided to close up shop and send the 2 ladies home. Well, I think he made that decision a tad too late because now his car is buried under the snow and he's stuck there! At noontime we already had 14 1/2 inches and the winds are 45 mph so we're experiencing snow drifts. The roads are horrible and the state of MO has declared a state of emergency. Shawn is stuck at work till someone plows him out which could be days from now. He threatened to walk home which is only 3 miles from here BUT it's bitterly cold and I don't think that's a wise choice. Atleast at work he has heat & food...i'm just worried on how long he'll be there! Everything in the area is closed. Our street hasn't even been plowed. It's lookin like the next few days are gonna be alitte rough but so far we have our power!

So, i'm gonna go fix something for Kelsey & I for supper and watch the news.
Thanks for stopping by & stay warm where ever you are!
~Wendy

I've been staying in contact with our friends/relatives in MO and OK. Please be careful and stay where it's safe and arm.

Love the layout of this card! I might have to see what images/stamps I have that would work for some Father's Day cards with it!
