Sketch Challenge 318

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Well, we survived the Blizzard of 2011 in here in the midwest!
Thankfully, no power outages but 45 mph winds & 18 inches of snow.
Nothing this PA chick can't handle!! LOL
I also said yesterday in my blog post that Shawn was literally stuck at work. Eventually after the snow stopped he bundled up and walked home! I was ready to shoot him but yet was happy to have him home safe & sound. Today everything is closed and Joplin is under a state of emergency still. The streets are a mess so we're hoping soon a snow plow comes thru!

Anyways, today is Sketch Challenge day over at SCS.
Below is the layout & my card samples.
Hope ya like!

Sketch Challenge #318 Card:

Stamps: Abundant Hope (set #16)
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Barely Banana, Certainly Celery, White, SU Sarah DSP
Accessories: Tags Nestibilities, Ribbon, Gold Butterfly Brad, Hot Glue Gun, Scor Tape

I was digging thru all my spring papers looking for the perfect paper to go with these beautiful daffodils and I came across this old SU retired pack called Sarah. Oh so pretty and perfect for an Easter card. I left it out so you'll probably see me using it again! :)
Speaking of spring....they say the Groundhog did NOT see his shadow which means an "EARLY SPRING"!!! I think I speak for most that an early spring would be "wonderful"!

Well, that's all for today!
Thank you for stopping by & I hope your all staying safe & warm!
Have a great day!
~Wendy

Thank heaven Shawn made it home! Gosh, that's really a long walk in such terrible conditions, but I'm glad he's home with you! Whew!! He's one brave soul for sure!! My DH wouldn't walk 3 miles in good weather! LOL
Your card is beautiful, and I've never seen that DP before, but it really adds a lot to this gorgeous flower! I can almost smell it's sweet perfume!

Oh Wendy, thanks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment. It in turn gave me a chance to see this lovely creation. Hope you dig out from all that snow, we got ice, so very dangerous driving this morning.

Hugs
Debbie

Well...there may not be any daffodils outside, but I'm sure glad you found some in your stamp room! :-) I'm enjoying seeing your cards with these older stamps! I should do more of that.
