Combined Challenges

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope everyone is having a great day! Is a beautiful day here in south central PA. We had storms yesterday that brought a cold front thru last night and it's one of those kind that makes it feel like autumn is here. I almost hate to say it but there is a chill in the air. I had shut all the windows & and put jeans on today. Crazy I know but I do love this type of weather!!

So, anyways, once I got Shawn & Kelsey out the door to work this morning I did a few things around the house and took Gigi for a walk around the back yard. All she seems interested in is chasing the bunny family that lives under our shed when she needs to be doing her business! After that I made my way downstairs to do some creating. I went to bed  last night with the SCS Color Challenge on my mind so today I combined it with the SCS Sketch Challenge. I also have to say that I was very inspired by a card that Bonnie Klass aka Bon2stamp made yesterday. Thanks Bonnie!

Here we go....
Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight & Old Olive

I love the Spring Garden set from years ago and seen Bonnie's card yesterday she posted on SCS and it got my wheel's spinning. It also was perfect for today's Sketch Challenge.
I made this a sympathy card since my card rack seems low on them. Love the springy colors of this!
I also used the Color Challenge's dessert option of using flowers! :)

CC439 & SC449 Card:

Stamps: Spring Garden, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Old Olive, Daffodil Delight & Melon Mambo SU Markers, Memento Black
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Neenah White, Bright 12 X 12 Stack DSP
Accessories: Snow Dots EF, Itty Bitty Banners Framelits, Stamp A Ma Jig, Melon Mambo Ribbon, 2 Sided Tape

And before I close I wanted to let my blog readers know that Ryan got a good news at the cancer appt on Monday. Blood work showed his levels are all within range and have been that way since January. In 3 months he will have to have his usual 6 month CT Scan done & blood levels checked again but it all seems to be going in the right direction! Thank you, Jesus!

Well, that is all for today!
Going to work on some Halloween things then head to the kitchen to make a pan of lasanga for supper! I'm so hungry for it!

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

I didn't try to do the tulips in 2 colors! I think I tried everything else! I love this with those little banners in the challenge colors! So thankful that Ryan's report was a good one!
