Hello & Happy Wednesday!
Hope everyone is staying cool out there!
Our weather has been downright disgusting with this heat & humidity.
I think if I stop complaining about it that maybe....just maybe, we might get some cooler, more Fall like weather! LOL Wouldn't that be nice!
Yesterday we had Ryan to see the Gastro Doctor.
No diagnosis.
We left there to go have an xray done to look for any obstructions and then he will be going to the hospital for a Colonoscopy in a few weeks. Everything is scheduled. He's been sick for 4 weeks and now we have to wait 3 more weeks!!! I am SO frustrated and very worried. My psoriasis is flaring up from all the worrying and I don't know how to control that.
So, in the next 3 weeks I will try hard to get some stamp therapy in so it helps take my mind off Ryan's sickness.
I'm really excited about the Holiday Mini Catalog going live today!
I don't have much from it, yet. There are SO many cool things in it. Hard to decided!
I promised you I would have a Christmas project today!
I made this over the weekend using a new suite in the Holiday Mini called Santa's Workshop on pages 18 & 19.
The cute Mrs Claus was cut of of the Santa's Workshop DSP with the Santa's Signpost Framelits.
I love that SU has been doing that with many of our suites.
I got this idea from Angie Juda. She did this with Halloween stamps & DSP's.
I loved the pocket that she created and since Ryan is always asking for Gift Card Holders around the holidays...this will go in his pile.
I also used the *now retired* Stitched Seasons Framelits! These were part of the Blended Seasons Bundle that was only available for the month of August.
They are beautiful and come in 3 different sizes. This uses the large and medium ones.
Project Details:
Stamps: Signs of Santa
Ink: Poppy Parade, Garden Green
Cardstock: Poppy Parade, Garden Green, Whisper White, Santa's Workshop DSP
Accessories: Santa's Signpost Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Stitched Season's Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Poppy Parade Ribbon, Garden Green Thick Twine, Hole Punch, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
Behind the Mrs Claus panel there is a pocket to slip in money or a Gift Card.
This will work so well for Christmas and even fits in a regular envelope!
I see more of these being made in the future!
This suite is very fun and perfectly festive!

My thoughts today....
That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

This is adorable, Wendy! Yes, I see they have been doing the framelits to match the papers often. It is a great idea for people who just can't color. Woo Hoo on the mini catty. I will get serious when I finish work today and see what I want. Sorry no answers about Ry. They will figure it out.
these are great little gift card/money holders, and I really like that plump little granny image that reminds me of my grandma :) Such a sweet way to gift money to someone on Christmas. Love the Snoopy quote too. I hope the doctors can come up with a quick and speedier diagnosis for poor Ryan - I'm so sorry you've been dealing with this for a month and still haven't made progress yet :( You must be mentally spent in dealing with it all. (hugs)
Oh my, these are super duper cute! I hope you get a diagnosis soon for Ryan and your sakes. Take care of yourself. I'm glad you are getting a little stamping therapy. :)
Sorry to hear Ryan still isn't feeling well. Hope you can get some answers soon. What a darling gift card holder! Glad you snuck in some time for yourself.
What a cute little gift tag/holder! Sorry your still in the waiting game with Ryan. Be sure to remember to take care of yourself too and get in lots of "therapy"!
