Christmas Pines

Hello & Happy Saturday!

What a difference a day makes around here!
Our weather has gone from summer to feeling almost like winter! The winds are gusting today around 40 mph and temps are not suppose to get out of the low 50's. Definitely going to need to wear a coat if heading out today!
I am planning to craft a bit today then popping out to grab a few things at the grocery store. I certainly hope by then the winds die down some. Hang on to your hats!

Anyways, yesterday I undertook a huge project at my stamp table. I'm sure it will take me atleast a week or so to finish it up! I will definitely share it here once it's completed but in the meantime I have a Christmas card to share with you.

Take a look....

I was really on the fence about ordering this new stamp set, Christmas Pines from the SU Holiday Mini Catalog. I recently got the Impression Obsession Pine Bough die which cuts so nicely. Once seeing this set and the adorable pine cone dies....I went in search of a pine cone die which I have yet to find. One day I just caved and ordered this bundle. I am glad now that I have it! The set is full of great images & sentiments! And the thinlits are just as nice! Worth every cent in my opinion!

Tis the Season Card:

Stamps: Christmas Pines
Ink: Garden Green, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Garden Green, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla, Warmth & Cheer DSP Pad
Accessories: Pretty Pines Thinlits, Gold Twine, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So happy with this card and it is also very mail friendly too!

My thoughts today....

 That's all for me today!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

LOL, I had just ordered a pine branch die as well, but I agree, this set has lots of nice additions that make it worth every penny! Love the country feel of your card today! Hold on to your hat (and hair) today, it IS blustery!

Well blow me down! (literally!) LOL I'm not venturing outdoors today, so I'm spending some time in the craft room. I love the bundle you used for this card, and that plaid paper is awesome too! Stay warm - isn't it a drastic change from the summer-like weather we had yesterday? Unreal! Enjoy your weekend!

Lovely cards! You are reminding me that I need to get back to making Christmas cards again...Or I will find myself short on cards again like I did last year.
Wasn't our weather fabulous for a while? I really liked it...sadly, back to cold weather again. But I did enjoy it while it lasted!

Oh how fun, Wendy! Adorable card with the pines and plaid. I just love that sentiment, also. Glad we got back our fall chill. It sure makes a person more productive. Enjoy your Sunday!
