Flourishing Phrases Sympathy Set

Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your all having a great week so far!

I started to do some spring cleaning around the house!
Sunday I washed & ironed all my curtains. Yesterday I cleaned the windows inside & out. I also took down all my mini blinds, washed them and hung them outside to dry. I'm beat already and haven't even started any housework yet! It's going to be a long week and luckily I have a stash of cards made & ready to share with you!

Up first is a set of Sympathy cards that I made using the Flourishing Phrases stamp set.
Very nice set with matching dies, too!
On these I just used the With Sympathy sentiment and left the dsp do all the work!

My DSP comes from the Whole Lot of Lovely DSP pack and I used a simple design.

Card Set Details:

Stamps: Flourishing Phrases
Ink: Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Basic Black, Whole Lot of Lovely DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Black Rhinestones, Basic Black 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'll have these cards on hand for when someone needs them and eventually we all need Sympathy cards.

My thoughts today....

I'm not really happy about my thoughts today but Mother Nature has a mind of her own!
I hope the snow that is moving in for tonight is short lived. I'm ready for warmer weather with pretty flowers & lots of sunshine! Hopefully this is the last hump in the road!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

Very nice set of cards. I love when it works out to let the pretty paper do all the work! Sounds like we are on the light side of the snow here. :-( I wouldn't have minded a "bigger" one here as Hubby is local this week and son is on Spring Break! Nice thing with march snow is that it melts fast.

The dsp really does do all the work for you on these lovely cards! The black accents are just perfect to tone things down and add a touch of serenity. Bless your heart for getting all those curtains and blinds done! I'm waiting for new windows to be installed soon and then I can have the fun of installing new blinds and curtains as well...........sigh. Send some of your energy my way, won't ya please? LOL Stay safe and warm in this storm. They're saying some areas (looks like it may be us) can get hit with 16" of heavy snow! Oy! It's hard to imagine this big storm coming on the heels of last Friday's storm, and then another one is brewing for Sunday into Monday! Come on spring!!!!

I love this DSP! I must have missed it. It easily does all the work to bring your card together. Great card!

I am not sure how I got this far behind on my comments. I think you have little gremlins posting! The dandelions on the dsp make a striking background. Perfect to convey a sympathy sentiment. Nice job, Wendy!

These are lovely! It's sad that we need these but we do. And you must have had a lot of energy! My windows need to be washed but I keep telling myself that I have to wait until the weather is a LITTLE warmer, LOL!
