Hello & Happy Thursday!
Happy 1st day of March, too!
It's to be a rainy day here.....again!
We are under the gun with a Nor'easter today & tomorrow. Lots of rain & very windy conditions into the weekend. I will be staying put and doing lots of stamping to pass the time!
Yesterday I played along with the Tuesday Morning Sketches.
I really like their challenges which I have not been keeping up with them in the last few months.
There's been too many distractions but after seeing the layout this week I made sure to take the time to play along!
I took the Lots of Lavender stamp set and only used the shadow stamp instead of the image itself. I wanted a softer look without the lines. I hope I accomplished that. I used a mix of papers and in the end I was quite happy with the finished card!
Card Details:
Stamps: Lots of Lavender (SaleABration '18), Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Wisteria Wonder, Wild Wasabi
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Wisteria Wonder, Whisper White, Have A Cuppa DSP, Delightful Daisy DSP
Accessories: MS Border Punch, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Banner Punch, Rhinestones, Wisteria Wonder Baker's Twine, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
If your looking for a fun sketch challenge each week....head over to the Tuesday Morning Sketches blog and give them a try!

My thoughts today.....
Sure is!
That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

What a great idea to use the shadow stamp! You can never go wrong using purple, and this is just lovely.
This is such a soft and pretty look and I just love the color combo too! (my fav) Beautiful dsp and lacy elements with a gorgeous image too! Thanks for playing along with the Tuesday Morning Sketch challenge and we look forward to seeing you play again next week :) Stay dry if you can *wink*
Wendy this is absolutely beautiful! Love the colors and that bunch you used is perfect. The added bakers twine bow is the perfect finishing touch. Stay safe from all the wind! Oh and thanks for playing along with us again this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Absolutely beautiful!! Your stamped flower is perfect... it looks painted!
(I'm in the midst of this storm... we've received about a foot of snow and it's still coming! I hope to create... if our power stays on!)
Thanks for playing along with us at Tuesday Morning Sketches

Your card lovely! I love the color combo you used and the watercolor flower is so abstract and artsy. Thank you for joining us at Tuesday Morning Sketches.
Your card is beautiful Wendy, I think you had a great idea using the shadow stamp for sort of a Monet-ish impressionistic style. Thanks so much for creating with us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches :)
Wonderful and accurate take on the sketch! So pretty, soft and classy!
