Barn Door Seasons Greetings

Hello & Happy Friday!

Our weather is a bit cooler today but still on the humid side.
I don't think sleeping with the windows open is going to happen tonight.
While I am thankful for the AC, it surely messes with my sinuses.

Today I have a cute card to share using the Barn Door set from the Annual Stampin Up Catalog on page 63. This set belongs to my good friend, Deb and she kindly left me borrow it a few months ago.
I was looking to create some Christmas cards with it.
It reminded me of my days at the llama farm where we did craft shows.

For me personally, the wreath upon the door is what I love about this set!
I did not want to create a card with the sliding doors that you see because some people might not know to slide the door back & forth and not only that, to get the door to slide you have to use dimensionals to pop it up and use washers, so it would definitely make your card too bulky to mail. At the llama farm, the door on the milk room where we held our craft shows was just like this one except it was painted white.

Card Details:

Stamps: Barn Door
Ink: Crumb Cake, Poppy Parade, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Poppy Parade, Whisper White
Accessories: Sliding Door Framelits, Pinewood Planks EF, Poppy Parade Striped Ribbon, Rhinestone, Sponge, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The making of this card brought back so many fond memories for me of the llama farm.
We had many wonderful times there!
The craft shows ended 2 years ago due to age & health issues.
I did that show for 15 years and I surely miss it!

My thoughts today....

Definitely ALL OF THE ABOVE!
Haha!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

This is wonderful with that textured white cardstock and the rustic wooden barn door! I really like the wreath and the striped ribbon that works perfectly with the little red bow. As for your thoughts today, I will just say a big AMEN to all of the above! LOL Have a great weekend :)

Definitely a farm feel with your barn card! Love it! And with your graphic, I'd definitely vote for all of the above. Have a great weekend!

How funny, I played with this set yesterday, myself! I like what you did much better. Great stamping it on the kraft color! The red really pops.

What a fun set/card! It looks like the top half the door should be open with a horse sticking out! That would be a fun set/card! Than you could add the wreath at the bottom and use it year round. Have a nice and "cool" weekend!!
