Listen With The Heart

Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

I hope your week is going well!
It's another gloomy day with rain. I suppose it's great if your a duck!
I am in major need of sunshine to put some motivation in my step!

Earlier this week I stamped pretty much all day since I am stuck in the dungeon while the work is going on upstairs. I pulled out some Valentines Day stuff and made a card.

I got out this hostess set from 2004 called Listen With The Heart.
It hasn't seen ink in many years and the ink is retired as well....Regal Rose.
That color was always a favorite of mine!
I know the paper is a bit busy but I loved it with that pretty water washed heart!
The paper was available in 2007 and now retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Listen With The Heart (retired)
Ink: Regal Rose (retired)
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Regal Rose (retired), Whisper White, Love Me DSP (retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Rhinestone, Regal Rose Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The colors in the paper are: Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Taken W Teal, Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink. Sadly, they are all retired now...

********************************************************
My thoughts today...

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!
~Wendy

Look at you working with the oldies. Yay! Looks so cool. Great choice of paper. Wasn't it just Christmas? Now we will be past Valentine's, crazy!

I can't help but think even the ducks will be getting tired of this weather too by now?! Ha HA Most be the time of more "busy" cards?! I made one too the other day and even hubby commented on how busy it was?!! Now if the weather would just clear up enough to get out and try to get some half decent pictures of my cards! Love the colors on this card! I also miss a lot of these older colors of card stock especially!

Way to use up that stash of great old papers! I remember these, and they look great together with that scribbled heart! Great sentiment too!
