Good Morning & Happy TGIF!!!
Today's Free 4 All Challenge was themed "Good Ole Summertime"! Dawn thought we should do a card/project with something in mind that we did as a child durning the summer time months. It's funny, Vicki & I were just talking about making a door hanger with something related to summer and I had talked about kids in a pool or something watermelon. Things I can relate to as a child. I remember days of swimming and then having watermelon as a treat in the evenings after a long hot summer day! Soooooo, I found in my stash this Seed Packet template already stamped with a SU watermelon image and the door hanger came to life!
I covered my wooden door hanger with some Garden Green Patterns 12 X 12 DSP and added a piece of Whisper White punched with the Martha Stewart Doily Punch and added red rhinestones and my sentiment. Also threw in there a button and some different red gingham ribbons that were in my stash. The gingham really brings it to life with eating watermelon on the picnic table covered with a red gingham tablecloth! I love the turnout and loved going back to something happy as a child! And now I also have a new door knob hanger to place on my front door! WooHoo!
