Can you believe that today is the last day of January 2018?!

Did you happen to the see the Super Moon last night or early this morning?

They said it was to be very bright!

So, today I have a treat holder to share that I made to go with these Strawberry Ghirardelli Chocolates that I picked up at the grocery store. I did not eat any of them so i'm not sure how good they are but Ghirardelli Chocolates usually don't disappoint.

I just wanted a little something to hold these cute candies in.

Was quite pleased when they were done!

ETA: Directions for the Ghirardelli Holders

Cardstock measuring 7 X 3 1/2

scored at 3 1/2.

I then slipped the cardstock into my trimmer and sliced a piece off diagonally then glued the side & bottom with Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue. You will need a strong adhesive. Then decorate how you would like! Have fun!

Party Panda's

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your all having a great week so far!

My hubby has the day off and is headed to the dentist.

Poor guy suffered all weekend with a toothache and I know from experience that they are NO fun.

He originally had the day off for a eye doctor appointment but when he was able to get in with the dentist first thing today he called and changed it. The car was also suppose to head to the Toyota dealer for an overdue oil change. This toothache really rearranged his schedule!

So, yesterday I spent some time at my stamp table since I have so many idea's locked away in my head. If I don't act on them I will lose the thought! 

This is the card I had in my head and i'm happy I was finally able to get it made.

It uses a SAB set called Party Panda's!

Panda's are cute & cuddly so who could resist this adorable birthday card!

Valentine's Day Popcorn Box

I'm trying to get back on track with blogging & stamping and since I did some stamping this past weekend I have alot to share!

I always create treats to sell to my customers for each holiday and while I have been slow to get my act together since Christmas....I finally picked up a bunch of candy at the store and got some things made. 

Do you remember that I made the Popcorn Boxes for Halloween & Christmas?

Well, I did some for Valentines Day too and I really like them!

It helps too that Stampin Up has a new suite called Painted With Love! It's SO pretty!

At first I was not so sure about that Painted With Love Specialty Paper but now I am in love with it!

It has Gold Foil throughout it and I think it just catches the eye!

Truely Taylored Birthday Card

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope y'all did not forget about me.

I'm still here!

I have been having some health issues and after a few weeks decided it was time to get to the doctor to have them checked out. I had a bunch of blood work done which hopefully I find out the results this coming week....

So, this weekend we did absolutely nothing so I decided it was time to get to my stamp table and use all these beautiful new goodies that I have had for a few weeks.

I needed to make my big brother, Greg, a birthday card which is already late.

I hate being late on sending birthday wishes but sometimes it can't be helped.

I pulled out my Truely Taylored stamp set to make him a card but this isn't just a card....it's a Double Z Fold card! I have been seeing them around and decided to learn how to make another type of Z Fold. Hope you like this one!

I'm sorry my pictures look a bit dark.

I got a new laptop for Christmas (which I am still learning) and i'm not quite sure if it's my camera or photo program that is giving it this dull look. We'll figure it out in due time, i'm sure!

This stamp set is truely a great set for any masculine card.

The True Gentleman DSP is equally as nice and it has some great colors in it!

Thoughts & Prayers

Hello & Happy Thursday!

The week is flying by!

Today we have some brilliant sunshine and our temps are to start going up!

Yippee Skippee because this cold, windy & snowy weather is starting to be a bit much.

I am hearing 50's by the weekend and I am SO happy about that!

I have a card to share today that was made for my last customer order. 

It is for a young, married woman who was burned back before Thanksgiving. She bent over to blow out a candle and her long hair caught fire and she has suffered major burns on her face, neck & chest. She is still hospitalized and going thru some very painful treatments and depression is setting in. My heart hurts for her....

Happy New Baby

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

It's been so cold & snowy since before Christmas.

We had a week of warm temps last week and it was so refreshing but now we are back to the cold again. We also had more snow last evening & overnight. I am hoping this cold snap will soon move along.

Yesterday my hubby spent the day working from home.

It's always nice to have him home but that work phone of his rings ALL THE TIME!

That drives me nuts!

So, today I have a baby card to share.

Happy New Year!!

Hello & Happy Monday!

Happy New Year, too!

Did you make any resolutions this year?

I normally do not but I feel strongly on getting back on my bike this year and to be honest, I really miss it! I have not been on my bike since mid October!

I pledged to also get back on board with eating healthier, too! We've fallen off the horse pretty hard the last several months and I feel horrible. Exercise & eating better is a must!

I have also decided this year to do some things differently with blogging. No, i'm not stopping but going to not blab so much and just get to sharing what you all come here to see and that is something stamped!

So, on this January 1st 2018.... here is my first blog entry!
