Turkey Peppermint Patties

Good Morning & Happy Saturday!

My hubby made it home around noon yesterday from his week long trip to Wisconsin!
He got in, had some lunch then took a long nap!
Traveling just wipes you out when you are up at 3am!
While he napped I went off and worked on my Christmas M&M Sticks and did some laundry.
It's good to have him home!

Today I have another yummy Thanksgiving Treat to share with you!
York Peppermint Patties are one of my favorites and these were quick & easy to whip up!

Thanksgiving is coming fast and these were quick to whip up since I found the felt turkeys at Hobby Lobby. These were adhesive backed so I just peeled off the backing and placed it on my cello bag topper. My sentiment comes from the retired Teeny Tiny Wishes set and was punched out with the Classic Label Punch and added with 2 Mini Dimensionals.

Project Details:

Stamps: Teeny Tiny Wishes (retired)
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Mango Melody, Whisper White, Mango Melody DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Cello Bags, Stapler, Mini Dimensionals, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

So fun!
My card lady said that there were a few of these yummy peppermint patty treats left but by the time Thanksgiving comes they most likely will be gone.
Yippee Skippeee!

My thoughts today...

I agree!
When I did craft shows I was always decorated before Thanksgiving!
This year I am waiting for Thanksgiving to start putting my trees out upstairs and decorating my front porch. I just feel like Thanksgiving kinda gets the short end of the stick!

Have you started to decorate for Christmas yet?

Thanks for stopping by today!
Enjoy your day!
~Wendy

I'm glad Shawn made it home safely from his trip to Wisconsin! I'd have taken a nap once I got home too! LOL Those felt turkeys are a bargain and so cute for these treat holders! I made 30 treat holders to take to Thanksgiving dinner as there are always well over 25 ppl in attendance! Now I need to buy more candy to finish filling them! LOL I don't decorate for any holidays anymore. I put up my one ceramic Christmas tree that my dad made for us the year we got married (1968) and although I don't do any other decorations for holidays, I always put that tree up for Christmas because it makes me feel like a little part of him is there with us.
