Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Woke up to some pretty sunshine this morning which always helps put a spring in my step!

We've had so many gloomy, rainy days since last summer and every little bit of sunshine helps!

I know it's not gonna last as we have more rain on the way for tonight into tomorrow.

I have a really sweet card to share today that I whipped up in about 20 minutes last week.

I sent it to a friend to brighten her day!

I love sending out a little bit of happiness each week.

This time I used more of the SaleABration paper that comes in the Painted Season's bundle that is only available with a $100 order during SaleABration.

I was happy to know that my friend received it yesterday so I was in the clear to now share it here.

She said it definitely brightened her day and that was what it was suppose to do!

I love sending a card out with no other purpose than to brighten someone's day and make them smile.

Happy mail is SO much better than getting bills in the mail, don't ya think?

Butterfly Gala

Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope everyone had a nice weekend and did not blow away to the land of Oz!

Those winds are crazy!

Today I have another tall skinny notepad to share using some new products!

Butterfly Gala is a new stamp set with a coordinating punch that is in the Occasions Catalog.

Right now the punch is on backorder status and my punch happens to be on that backorder list too!

So, I am making due with just the stamp set for now!

You can't tell it but I added lots of Wink of Stella on my butterfly wings to add some sparkle.

And I added some pretty rhinestones to bling it up!

My DSP is from the Gingham Gala DSP which is so pretty!

The colors scream springtime!

St Patrick's Day

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!

Today I have another set of St Patrick's Day cards to share that I whipped up for my customer.

She usually orders 2 packs of them.

Stampin Up does not carry any papers or stamps for St Patrick's Day anymore so I had to look elsewhere for paper and I found this pretty sheet of paper at Hobby Lobby. It has Gold Foiled Shamrocks on it and that grabbed my eye immediately!

It also matched our Call Me Clover cardstock perfectly!

Ink: Call Me Clover

Cardstock: Call Me Clover, Gold Foil Paper, Whisper White, Patterned Paper- Hobby Lobby

Accessories: Oval Layering Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

As with any card, I always like to add embellishments or ribbon but I left this set as is so the Gold Foiled Shamrocks would stand out.

Now I can get started on making a few St Patrick's Day cards for myself to send out.

Lasting Lily

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday I had my 5th Light therapy session.

I am happy to report that I am now up to a minute & a half and no redness or sunburn!

I am starting to see some changes in my spots as they are not as red and definitely not as itchy as they were. I am happy about that!

Today I have a card to share that I made for myself.

I pulled out the SaleABration stamp set called Lasting Lily.

Aren't those lilies gorgeous?

I really like how detailed it is! 

This is one of Stampin Up's distinktive sets!

I just lov'em!

St Patrick's Day

Good Morning & Happy Friday!

This morning I left the girls out to do their business.

I walked to my bedroom and opened the curtains then walked back to the kitchen to let them back in. Bailee came but no Gigi! OMG, I started to freak out yelling for her.

I threw shoes on and ran thru the snow to the end of the fenced in area and she was no where to be found!

I called Shawn in a panic as he was on his way to work.

As i'm calling her name here she comes running out from a wooded area on my neighbors property. How the heck did she get out from the fence??!!

Looks like someone opened the gate and tried to get into our fenced in area and left the gate open about 6 inches.....enough for Gigi to squeeze thru!

Thankfully, she came right to me and I was able to grab her and get the gate locked again.

We always said that if she got out that she would be long gone!

My tummy is an emotional wreck at the moment,

I hope that wasn't a sign of what the rest of the day will be like.

If so, I am going back to bed!! Ughhh!

Made these for my customer yesterday.

Stampin Up doesn't carry anything St Patrick's Day related anymore but I have a bunch of stamps that have been long retired that I still use!

These were simple & quick to whip up and using punches made it go even faster!

I tend to forget sometimes that I have punches and reach for the Framelits instead.

Cake Soiree Birthday

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Hope everyone enjoyed the snow day yesterday!

My hubby was working from home so I ran off to my stamp table to work on some upcoming stamp day classes. I got alot accomplished so today I will finish up and start some St Patrick's Day cards!

 I have a birthday card to share using the Cake Soiree set & the retired Sweet Soiree Embellishment Kit. I love this set which is great for whipping up a quick card!

And this retired DSP is so pretty! 

It has Silver Foil throughout it which makes it really stand out!

Thinking of You Card Set

Yesterday I had my 4th light treatment and I finally made it over the 1 minute mark! 

WooHoo!

Haven't noticed any changes yet in my psoriasis but i'm keeping the faith that this will help!

Today is a snow day and I have a pack of Thinking of You cards to share.

These were for a customer order that I delivered last evening.

Painted Season's Notepad

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Hope your week is going well so far!

They are calling for another winter storm to come thru tomorrow into Thursday.

More than likely my hubby will be working from home tomorrow unless they close his plant. 

I'd rather him be home that way he is safe and off the roads!

Today I have another cool notepad to show using the NEW SaleABration goodies called Painted Season's! It's a beautiful set that can be used year round. The DSP is just as beautiful, too!

This is a Distinktive stamp set which you all know I love them!

There are coordinating dies that will be available starting March 1st.

Lovely Lattice Stained Glass

I have a pretty neat card to share today that I used the Stained Glass technique on.

I have never done this before so after watching a video on it, I had to try it!

I used the SaleABration set called Lovely Lattice.

It's perfect for using the Stained Glass technique on!

Label Me Pretty Thank You's

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

The sun is shining beautifully this morning!

Not going to last too long so I will enjoy it while we have it!

A rain/mix is coming this afternoon/evening.

While we were out on a walk yesterday we noticed how the farmer's fields are swampy with water from recent rains & melting snows. 

We need about 2 weeks of sunshine and no precipitation to dry everything out but I doubt that will happen anytime soon.

Today I have a set of Notecards & Envelopes to share.

My customer always requests Thank You cards and this is the set I made for her.

I love the size of these Notecards & Envelopes!

They are just the right size to send a quick Thank You!

On this set I used the All My Love DSP and layered it onto a piece of Balmy Blue Cardstock.

My Thank You circle & the layer under it are from the Label Me Pretty set and coordinating Pretty Label Punch. The stamp actually says "Thank You for Caring" but I cut the "for Caring" off.

Then, of course, I added a Balmy Blue Organdy Ribbon Bow from the 2019 SaleABration Catalog.

Such yummy ribbon!

SaleABration 2019

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Yesterday our temps hit the 60's and it was so refreshing!

It did not last too long as I was headed for my Light Therapy session, it started to cloud up.

Today is much cooler but Shawn & I decided we are going to go take a walk at the Rail Trail.

He loves looking for the painted rocks!

I got a really fun card to show today that I made this past week with SaleABration items!

I know SaleABration has been going on now since January 3rd and I have been neglecting using any of them! Hello Cupcake was the 1st set I got and I am just now using it half way thru SAB!

Yep, i'm slacking! LOL

I even used the Organdy Ribbon that is also in the SaleABration catalog!

Sadly, it sold out quickly and is no longer orderable.

Healing Hugs

We always stay home and celebrate with the kids and since this year it's just Ryan home with us we still celebrate with him!

I whipped up a homemade lasanga w garlic bread and made a Quick Chocolate Chip Bread for dessert w Cool Whip.

I have a beautiful set of cards to share today!

My customer asked for Get Well cards which she has not asked for in ages so I was thrilled to be able to make these for her using the Healing Hugs stamp set!

I LOVE this set as it's my favorite!

Don't you just love the look of that rose?!

My colors are Poppy Parade, Grapefruit Grove & Granny Apple Green.

My Grapefruit Grove layer was run thru the Big Shot with the Subtle EF which gives it a very cool almost textured look.
