Gingerbread House

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Phew, the heat is on!
We had a dangerous thunderstorm come thru here last evening.
I don't think I have ever heard it thunder and lightening as much as it did!
Our power flickered several times and thankfully it stayed on!

Today, as it is to get hotter by the day....I have something that will help cool you down
I am still celebrating Christmas in July and I have another set of holiday cards for you!
This time I pulled out one of my FAVORITE Christmas sets, Gingerbread House!

I also have the coordinating wheel that I put cushion on and use as a stamp now.
The name of the wheel is Gingerbread Man.

I took my gingerbread wheel stamp and inked it with Soft Suede and stamped all over the front of the card base. I stamped my images out and took my time coloring them since that hurts my hands.
I wasn't going to do all that coloring but this set is one of my favorites and I just had too!
All the images are colored with the Stampin Blends.

Card Details:

Stamps: Gingerbread House (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Call Me Clover, Soft Suede, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Soft Suede, Real Red, Whisper White
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Call Me Clover Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Clear Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These were so much fun to create!
I am still making more packs with my stash!
Wait till you see the pack i'm going to share tomorrow!
I love them!

My thoughts today....

Friday, Saturday & Sunday they are saying is going to be the worst!
I plan on staying in and stamping!
Yep, more Christmas in July! hehe

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

LOL, we WERE on the same page this week! Your gingers are CUTE...and look at all of them you did! You are so good at making multiples! You'll be set for sure at Christmas time! Love all the coloring...it's good therapy, right, especially when we have to stay inside so we don't swelter and melt away!! Stay cool!

Love the gingerbread set and your cards are adorable! I am pretty sure I have this set so we'll see what I come up with once I dig it out :) Thanks for doing this adorable series of Christmas cards. I am really enjoying it along with the oldies but goodies sets!

Love these posts using old sets. What fun to use these goodies again! I love gingies too. Would be fun to see the oldies posted once in a while, maybe once a month or so.
Keep having fun with these and stay cool with this heat wave!

I don't think I've seen this stamp set before, but it sure made one pack of fun-filled Christmas cards! You are putting me to shame getting all these Christmas cards done so well in advance, but I love it!

I must tell you how much I love the cards you are making with the retired SU stamps. I have many of these that I haven't pulled out for a long time and am having such fun remembering when they came out. Thank you for sharing your beautiful talent and, for those of us who have been stamping a very long time, reminding us how nice it is to use our older stamps.
