Coffin Boxes For Halloween

Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's a beautiful sunny morning here in south central PA but it's not going to stay sunny for long as rain is making it's way into our area later today!
My hubby has a list of outside work to get finished up before the rain gets here.
He needs to get the mowers put away as well as my rocking chairs off the front porch.
I will be straightening up the storage room and making room for the rocking chairs then we are going to relax and watch some movies later this evening. Hope we can find some good Halloween movies!

So, before my day gets busy I wanted to show you another cool Halloween treat!
This year Stampin Up offered these really cool coffin boxes!
They come 12 to a pack and all you need to do is fold them on the creases and glue.
I took some Silver Encore ink and sponged it on the outside of the boxes and left to sit to dry a day or two before I decorated the them.

These hold a good bit of candy!
I put a Kit Kat, a Reese's Peanut Butter Pumpkin and a handful of Hershey Kisses in them.
I gave them to my stamp girls at my World Cardmaking Day and they loved them!

Project Details:

Stamps: Spooktacular Bash
Ink: Memento Black, Silver Encore Pad, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Basic Black, Whisper White, Silver Foil Paper
Accessories: Coffin Boxes, Ornate Frames Dies, Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon, Sponge, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These are so cool and what a fun way to present some yummy treats for Halloween!

I was wondering if you made some of these cute boxes. OMGosh, they are perfect in every way! The sponging on the lids give them a little extra something! Hubby is up and making a vat of chili to be enjoyed over the next month or so. I don't eat it. Have a great football, cozy Sunday!

These are SO cute! Years ago I made them using a Martha Stewart template which took hours to put together! LOL Love the goodies inside too - what fun for Halloween! Are you ready for the rainy Sunday??? It's here already :)
