Pineapple Punch

Hello & Happy Friday!

The muggy weather is back today and my AC has been turned back on.
I was just saying to my neighbor last evening how nice the last 2 days were.
I heard we are back to rain everyday for the next week but that is one thing we really need!
Our grass is brown.

So, today I have a quick card using an old set called Fresh Fruits from 2005.
I paired it with a new In Color called Pineapple Punch.

Pineapple Punch is literally the color of pineapples...almost reminds me of YoYo Yellow from back in the day! It's pretty bright!
Anyone else remember that color?

If you look closely under the pineapple panel I have snuck in a piece of Pineapple Punch cardstock that was embossed with the Petal Pairs Embossing Folder. I placed my panel on a slant just to add some texture to my card.

Card Details:

Stamps: Fresh Fruits (retired)
Ink: Pineapple Punch, Garden Green, Early Espresso
Cardstock: Pineapple Punch, Whisper White, Pineapple Punch DSP (In Color DSP)
Accessories: Petal Pair EF, Pineapple Punch 1/8 Grosgrain Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I wanted to make some "Welcome to the Neighborhood" or "Congrats on Your New Home" style cards for on my card rack and I really love the pineapple stamp for that!
I know it's an old stamp set but it still makes some of the nicest cards!
I guess that is why I still have SO many older stamp sets in my collection!
I just cannot part with them!

My thoughts today....

Seems fitting to go with my Pineapple card today!

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your Friday!

Oh my, this one made my mouth water! Lovely color combo. Nice and juicy. Isn't it fun to revisit old sets? This is a real goodie.

How pretty is that pineapple! I love the cheery brilliant colors as well as the embossed diagonal panel. I just finished up the last of one we bought a few days ago. I just love the taste of a fresh pineapple! Keep that sunny disposition nearby because Mother Nature has other plans for us for a few days :)
