Waterfront HB

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a nice weekend!
Yesterday was a busy day with doggy day spa for the girls and then we ran some errands before the monsoon arrived. It rained pretty much all day! We needed it for the grass was brown and I know the gardens needed a good watering!
Yesterday was our 28th wedding anniversary and we spent most of the day just watching some movies and hanging out at home which was fine by me.

So, today I have a card to share that we made at the last stamp get together.
I seen this card on Pinterest by Su Mohr and did a complete case of it.
The girls like the outdoorsy masculine cards so this one was a hit!

This was also a fun card to create using the retired Hearth & Home Thinlit die.
I borrowed the window die from my friend, Deb a few months ago to diecut them ahead of time.
We stamped our forest on the Whisper White cardstock using Crumb Cake, Old Olive and Daffodil Delight inks.

Card Details:

Stamps: Waterfront, Perennial Birthday
Ink: Crumb Cake, Old Olive, Daffodil Delight
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories: Hearth & Home Thinlits (retired), Lg Oval Punch (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Stamping the forest looking out our windows was such a cool idea and the Wood Textures DSP adds so much to our card. If you do not have the Wood Textures DSP....you really need it!
Everyone's cards looked alittle bit different and that is the joy of using the Waterfront stamp set.
It can create some great cards!

My thoughts today....

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day!

I love this little scene on your card! It's like you're in a log cabin on vacation looking out the window at the beautiful scenery! Awesome creation! Happy Belated Anniversary - I sure hope it was the kind that brought happiness to both of you! May you enjoy 28 more wonderful years together too :)
