Hello & Happy Wednesday!
Halfway thru the week and we are still getting rains off & on!
Yesterday was pretty bad around my area. Many roads were closed due to flooding.
They are saying today will bring more rains and hopefully this will move away.
I know we needed the rain but not the amounts we got!
Anyways, today I have a pretty cool card to share.
I just learned how to create a Starburst style card.
Can you believe that?
I have never before made this style of card and after yesterday...I may be hooked!
This card uses a new suite that is in the Annual Catalog called Best Route on page 52 & 53.
I am always on the hunt for masculine stamps. This suite also has a pack of awesome paper to match!
Look at those colors and prints!
The bike piece jumped out at me!
Card Details:
Stamps: En Route
Ink: Blueberry Bushel
Cardstock: Blueberry Bushel, Whisper White, Best Route DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Square Layering Framelits, Best Route Enamel Shapes, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
This type of card went together so much easier than I expected! So glad I tried it!
I created a Christmas card for my next stamp get together using the Starburst Technique.
I hope the girls don't mind making a Christmas card this early but I think they will love this!

My thoughts today....
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Love the blue and yellow combo. You will have to tell me how easy it is to get the angles right. Great card!
I love this style of card and make it on occasion when I have scraps of DSP to use. Great card!
Great card that you can use for any occasion.
You nailed the starburst technique to make a fabulous card, and what a great way to use that dazzling paper! Love all the designs, but love that sentiment equally as much! Awesome! Thanks for reminding me to make one of these again soon! I sure hope you dry out soon! We had no rain so far today, but it did rain in the middle of the night pretty hard. I hate to mention it, but more of this is predicted for next week too...........sigh
