Hello & Happy Friday!
Well, yesterday I made myself go down to my stamp room and make a card.
I needed to do something while still waiting on test results.
I looked to one of my favorite challenge blogs to help me out of this rut i'm in.
Tuesday Morning Sketches has become one of my favorites!
Here is this week's sketch and my card samples....
Since my small pre-order arrived on Tuesday I decided to get out the Halloween set called Spooky Sweets to make my card. The witches hats come from the Bubble & Toil DSP that will be available in the Holiday Mini catalog on September the 5th. I know the stamp set called Cauldron Bubbles also has coordinating Framelits that cut the witches hat out of this DSP but I did not order them. Instead, I had to fussy cut them out and you all know I am not crazy about fussy cutting!
Card Details:
Stamps: Spooky Sweets
Ink: Highland Heather, Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Basic Black, Lemon Lime Twist, Whisper White, Bubble & Toil DSP
Accessories: Corner Rounder, Gorgeous Grape Striped Ribbon, Gorgeous Grape Glittered Enamel Dots, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue
First Halloween card of the season!
I'm sure there will be more to come.....it's one of my favorite holidays!

My thoughts today....
That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

This fabulous card just made me realize that Halloween is just around the corner already! WOW! Love those witches hats - great fussy cutting too! Also loving that splatter of purple ink - what a great looking card and a fun take on the sketch! Thanks for joining us at the TMS sketch challenge and good luck! Good luck with those test results too - I hope it's good news.
Cute card Wendy! Love the colors you used. I had a go at this weeks sketch too.....but got a bit carries away with my layers! Oops! Holiday catty?!! Will have to remember to look for it online!
I think this is adorable and your fussy-cutting is just fine! I was just checking out these papers today while having my morning coffee, thinking they were pretty darn cute! And look what you made with them! TFS!
Wow, that is brilliant! I have so many BD cards needed for September, that I have not even thought of Halloween yet. Way to get a jump on things!
Wendy, I LUV your adorable Halloween card. The two little hats in place of flowers are perfect. You've done a lovely job with our sketch. Thank you for joining us this week at Tuesday Morning Sketches.

My favorite time of year when you make great Halloween & fall cards like this one and wonderful treat holders.
