The Paper Players Challenge #449

Hello & Happy Friday!

I'm glad the weekend is here!

Today I have a card to share that I made for the Paper Players Challenge this week!
It stumped me at first and made me think a bit.
I was going to make a card with a crab on it since I love to go crabbing at the bay during the summer.
It was a favorite thing to do every summer when we went to the beach.
But is crabbing a water sport?
So, I grabbed my Sail Away boat and made a masculine card!
I'm always in need of masculine cards!

Here is the challenge and my samples....

The Come Sail Away DSP is perfect for this challenge!
I used the retired Sail Away stamp as my focal image and took my blender pen and pulled some of that Night of Navy ink onto the image where there is shading.
My sentiment is from A Good Man set. I punched that with the Classic Label Punch (LOVE THAT THING) and I popped it up with 2 mini dimensionals.
Lastly, I added my anchor from the Sail Away Trinkets and tied a bow with Whisper White Twine.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sail Away (retired), A Good Man
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White, Come Sail Away DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Classic Label Punch, Sail Away Trinkets, White Twine, Blender Pen, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Still think I should have made the crab card! LOL
But i'm happy with my card in the end and that's all that matters!
Hope you like it too!

My thoughts today....

This just made me laugh!

Thanks for stopping by & have a terrific day!

Great masculine make and that anchor accent is perfect! Great papers and colors for the guys too. I'll be waiting for the crab card in the future ;)

I would have loved the crabbing card Wendy (we are happy to accommodate any watersports!!) but your sailing card is great too, right down to that super cute anchor embellishment. Thanks for sharing with us over at The Paper Players this week!
