Priest Congratulations

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!

I have been working on a card order for Audrey and the card I am sharing today is one she requested for a priest at her church. She requested 3 different cards for the 3 different priests so this is the first one I made. The other two I will share soon.

Card Details:

Stamps: Hope & Prayers (retired), Inspired Events (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Boho Blue, Basic White, Countryside Inn DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Square Layering Framelits (retired), Boho Blue Ribbon (retired), Milky Dots (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This was the first time I used the Hope & Prayers set and that little cross.
I like the size of it and if you have this set, it is full of nice sayings!

The Countryside Inn DSP has carried over from last year which I was happy about!

Queen Bee

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

I had a great afternoon in my stamp room yesterday!
I stamped and made up a few cards with some retired products. This card uses the Queen Bee set that is still available on the Online Exclusives List. However, the dies have retired last year which I am not sure why. I adore this set but haven't used it much.

Card Details:

Stamps: Queen Bee
Ink: Bumble Bee (retired), Soft Suede (retired)
Cardstock: Bumble Bee (retired), Soft Suede (retired), Basic White, Crumb Cake
Accessories: Queen Bee Dies (retired), Hives 3D EF (retired), Linen Thread, Glue Dots, Champagne Rhinestones (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I am currently working on a set of cards with this same stamp set which I will share soon.

Flowering Zinnia Set

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope you all had a nice Memorial Day weekend?!

I took a bit of a break after I was done sharing all of Audrey's last card order. My hands were hurting so I knew I needed some downtime. Yesterday I went back to working on more cards for her. She just loves this Flowering Zinnia paper and always wants more! I just ordered a 2nd pack of it! LOL This is the pack I made for her next order...

Card Details:

Stamps: Labeled with Love
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Basic White, Lemon Lime Twist, Flowering Zinnia DSP (Online Exclusives)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Adhesive Backed Shiny Sequins (Online Exclusives), Lemon Lime Twist Ribbon (retired), Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm getting down to the nitty gritty on my 1st pack of this paper.
The 2nd pack should arrive next week.

Today's plan is more stamping!
I am excited to use some of my newer sets that I have not touched yet.
Let's hope my hands don't give out on me!

I'll be locked away in the basement making cards! YAY!!

Hooray for Surprises

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Looking to be a bit on the hot side today with lots of sunshine!
After weeks of gloomy, rainy days....I will take it!
Yesterday we got the bikes out for a quick ride on the Rail Trail. It was certainly a nice evening! We did 3 miles, packed up and headed back home. I did not want to do anymore as it's been quite a while since we last biked and I wasn't sure how Shawn's knee was going to handle it. He hasn't said anything so I think he was ok.

Today I have a card to share that I made with the Hooray with Surprises bundle. This came out in the 2024 Spring Mini Catalog and I never inked it up until recently! I paired it with a new In Color called Summer Splash & Berry Burst. Such a pretty color combo!

Card Details:

Stamps: Hooray for Surprises
Ink: Berry Burst
Cardstock: Summer Splash, Berry Burst, Basic White, Summer Splash DSP
Accessories: Hooray for Surprises Dies, Summer Splash Ribbon, Summer Splash In Color Shimmer Gems, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The new In Colors are so pretty this year! This color, Summer Splash just screams summertime to me. Almost a shade darker than Coastal Cabana.

Labeled with Love Bundle

 Good Morning & Happy Tuesday!

Finally, it's looking like a beautiful day ahead!
I'm thinking about getting the bikes out this evening for a quick ride as long as Shawn isn't late getting home from work. This will be the 1st we had the bikes out since last June....I sure hope I remember how to ride one! LOL

Today I have a Thank You card to share that I made with a new bundle called Labeled with Love. This bundle you can order it with either the punch or the die. I chose the die since I store the dies directly in the stamp case with the stamps. I have SO many punches from when I first got into Stampin Up (24 years ago) that is taking up way to much space so I am glad Stampin Up is giving us that option on certain sets!

Card Details:

Stamps: Labeled with Love
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends- Petunia Pop
Cardstock: Petunia Pop, Basic White, Petunia Pop In Color DSP
Accessories: Labeled with Love Dies, Petunia Pop In Color Shimmer Dots, Wink of Stella, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I loved this bundle from the minute I saw it in the new 2024-2025 Stampin Up Annual Catalog. I honestly think it was the variety of stamp & sayings in it. The butterfly spoke to me for some reason. There is no punch or die for it so I just carefully fussy cut it out and popped it up with Dimensionals on my sentiment panel. The sentiment panel was diecut using the Labeled with Love Dies. I did one in white & the other in Petunia Pop cardstock. Petunia Pop is a new In Color for the next 2 years!
This card is going out in a customer Thank You gift.

Special Anniversary

 Hello & Happy Monday!

I hope you had a super weekend!
They always seem to go by so quickly!
We did get our porches power washed and the summer furniture out.
Miss Bailee loved being out on the backporch watching the birds & squirrels!
I'm glad we got it done before it got too hot out!

Today I have the last special card to share that Audrey requested for her daughter & son in laws upcoming wedding anniversary. She wanted something with a wine bottle & glasses. I knew right off the bat I was going to use a retired stamp set called Half Full. It is a Million Dollar Achiever set from a few years ago. This is what I made for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Half Full (retired Million Dollar Achiever Set), Many Mates (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Basic Black Archival (retired), Stampin Blends-Crumb Cake, Petal Pink, Smoky Slate
Cardstock: Petal Pink, Basic White, Country Lace DSP
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Silver Cord, Festive Pearls, Wink of Stella, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey really loved this!
She called and said it was so pretty!
I was so glad she liked all the cards I had made for her in this last order.
It sure was a big one!

Best Bunny HB, Carly!

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I woke up this morning and it was so sunny out....now not so much!
The plan today is to get the porches power washed and get out the porch furniture.
Maybe one day this week I can get some flowers to finish them up! I'm thinking of getting some ferns to put on my front porch. The summertime heat & humidity and pretty strong on the front porch all summer and sometimes it's too much for the flowers. We shall see.

Today I have another card from Audrey's card order to share with you.
This one is made for a little friend of hers that is having a birthday soon. She could not remember exactly how old the little one was going to be so she just asked if I could personalize it with her name and use a bunny on it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Best Bunny (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Flirty Flamingo, Stampin Blends-Flirty Flamingo
Cardstock: Flirty Flamingo, Basic White, Balmy Blue, Flirty Flamingo DSP (retired)
Accessorries: Oval Layering Framelits (retired), Bunny Builder Punch (retired), Mini Alphabet Dies, Flirty Flamingo Enamel Heart (retired), Adhesive Sheets, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey was so pleased with this one for Carly!
It's always fun to pull out the old stuff and use it again and sometimes I am glad that I have this stuff in my stash to use on her cards. I can usually shop my stash to find what she needs on a card! LOL

Happy Retirement

 Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's to be a rainy day here again so since it's Saturday and Shawn is headed out fishing I decided to get my decorations out for Memorial Day/July 4th and get that chore done. I'm waiting on the porches to get power washed before I can even think about getting my rocking chairs out and planting some flowers. Every weekend for the last I don't know maybe 12 weekends it has rained and so that chore is still waiting. And next weekend is Memorial Day so I feel like we are way behind.

Today I am sharing a quick card that was on Audrey's card order list. She needed a retirement card for a man and was not very specific other than please use the chair on it. LOL So, this is what I made for her...

Card Details:

Stamps: Northwoods Rubber Stamps
Ink: Early Espresso
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Basic White, The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)
Accessories: Square Layering Framelits (retired), Seasonal Layers Thinlits (retired), Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Another one of those quick & easy cards!
I kept wanting to add stuff to it but in the end I left it off.
Speaking of Audrey, today is her last grandson's big day!
He's getting married today! I know she is so happy for him as she talks about him alot!
He actually asked his girlfriend to marry him in Audrey's house!  Now how cool is that?!

My dermatology appointment went well yesterday!
Doctor is trying an antibiotic on my rosacea to see if it helps the breakouts. I had this before and it did help so I am hoping for good results. But as always, time will tell!

I am in major need of my coffee this morning as I did not sleep too well last night!
A nap might be in order today! LOL

Gone Fishing

 Hello & Happy Fri-YAY!!

Hope your day is off to a good start!

Today I have a cool man card to share that was also part of Audrey's card order.
I think she said this one was for her son. I used the Gone Fishing bundle because she said he loves to fish! That makes my job easier!

Card Details:

Stamps: Gone Fishing, Country Birdhouse (sentiment)
Ink: Misty Moonlight
Cardstock: Misty Moonlight, Very Vanilla, Let's Go Fishing DSP (retired)
Accessories: Gone Fishing Dies, Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Misty Moonlight In Color Enamel Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I always enjoy making masculine cards if I know something specific of what the person enjoys. This one turned out nicely and as always, Audrey loved it!

This afternoon I have a dermatologist appointment for my rosacea. He gave me new meds back in January and wanted to do a recheck. Honestly, I don't think the medicine has done much for my symptoms so we shall see. Hope whatever you have planned today that it's something fun!

Graduation for Millersville University

 Good Morning & Happy Thursday!

It looks like today we may be in for sunshine...atleast I am hoping so!
If it's not too windy out i'd like to get the bikes out for a quick ride on the Rail Trail this evening but we'll see what happens there!

Today I have a graduation card to share that was part of Audrey's card order. This is for someone that attends Millersville University in Lancaster, PA. She wasn't sure of the colors so I did have to look that up. Black & Gold are their school colors so I made this for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: Blue Ribbon (retired)
Ink: Basic Black Archival (retired)
Cardstock: Basic Black, Gold Foil Paper, Basic White, Silver & Gold DSP (retired-SAB 22)
Accessories: Nested Essentials Dies, Gold Sequins, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This came together pretty easy with the help of the right supplies!

Happy 90th Birthday

 Hello & Happy Wednesday, Everyone!

If your on the east coast I hope your staying warm & dry as we are in for another day of rain.
I feel like a broken record but we've had so much rain in the last month or so. The grass has been growing like crazy and Shawn tries to get out to mow as much as the weather allows. I know in about 2 months it will be the complete opposite....hot & dry! Sometimes ya just can win against Mother Nature.

Today I have yet another personalized birthday card for Audrey's friend, Janet, whom is turning 90. Let me tell you a sad story before I get to sharing the card. When Audrey called and ordered this card she went on to tell me that this lady's husband had just passed away in a farming accident about 2 weeks ago. I remembered reading the story online in a news article. My heart sank. How terrible. But because they are farming people she wanted something with veggies on. I went in search of some paper and found the perfect piece! This is what I made for her.

Card Details:

Stamps: Memorable Moments (retired)
Ink: Blackberry Bliss
Cardstock: Blackberry Bliss, Very Vanilla, Farmer's Market DSP (retired)
Accessories: Lots of Labels Framelits (retired), Blackberry Bliss Ribbon (retired), Mossy Meadow Dots (retired , Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey was just SO happy with this card and called to say how much she appreciates all the work I put into her orders. She said that Janet will love this card! I do, too! I think it's the colors & print on the papers. I did have a dot of glue on my sentiment panel which the adhesive eraser took off after my pictures were taken. LOL I was rushing to get finished.

Since we are in for another rainy, dreary day I am planning the afternoon at my stamp table.
Audrey already asked for another pack of Zinnia cards! I'm happy to get them started! Atleast it will be sunny & bright in my stamp room once I pull that pack of paper out! LOL
Whatever you do on this rainy day, make it fun!

Happy 70th Birthday!

 Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Another rainy day here in PA!
Yesterday turned out to be a nice one for a change.
Shawn got his doctor appointment in. We were there for quite a bit because he needed to get blood drawn and his ears flushed. Wearing ear plugs at work always clogs the wax up and he usually knows when they need cleaned. After that we did a quick supper at the restaurant and back home in time to get Miss Bailee out for a walk. It was a nice evening!

Today I have another one of Audrey's requests to share for a lady that was turning 70.
I pulled out lots of floral stuff when making these personalized cards and some long retired things!

Card Details:

Stamps: Memorable Moments (retired)
Ink: Calypso Coral, Garden Green
Cardstock: Calypso Coral, Garden Green, Basic White, Garden Walk DSP (retired)
Accessories: Perennial Postage Dies, Lots of Labels Framelits (retired), White Organdy Glittered Ribbon (retired), Calypso Coral Enamel Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My cards usually have a mix of old & new together and I was pleased with how it turned out.

Another 99th HB Card

Good Morning & Happy Monday, Everyone!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!
It was a low keyed weekend around here since Shawn is dealing with yet another kidney stone. As of this morning he still has not passed it. He has a doctor appointment this evening for his 6 month check up so i'm not sure if he will bring up the kidney stone or just leave it be. It was also a very rainy, dreary weekend and by the looks of it this next week isn't looking much better. We did manage to get our walks in everyday which is a good thing!

Today I am sharing yet another birthday card that Audrey requested for a woman who is also turning 99 years old! Two 99 year olds in the same month.....all I can say is WOW!
I used lots of retired products on this one but if you know me you know I always love pulling the old sets out and breathing new life into them!

Card Details:

Stamps: Number of Years (retired)
Ink: Mint Macaron (retired), Balmy Blue
Cardstock: Balmy Blue, Basic White, Country Gingham DSP (retired)
Accessories: Large Number Framelits (retired), Mint Macaron Shimmer Ribbon (retired), Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I tried keeping this one a bit more simplified and easy for mailing!

Happy 99th Birthday

 Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today I am sharing another cute card made for Audrey's recent order.
She has a number of friends whom will be celebrating big birthdays this coming month. She has asked that I personalize all of them for her. This is the first one I made...

Card Details:

Stamps: Memorable Moments (retired), Petal Park (retired)
Ink: Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Shaded Spruce
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Balmy Blue, Basic White, Regency Park DSP (retired)
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Petal Park Builder Punch, Adhesive Backed Milky Dots (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I always did love this paper & stamp set! I just realized that the Petal Park Builder Punch carried over into the 2024-2025 Stampin Up Catalog! YAY! Too bad the stamp set did not.
