Happy Retirement

Hello & Happy Monday!

We are in for another gorgeous day here in PA!
I'm not sure what is on my agenda today!
I might just go out and soak up the sun!

I have a retirement card to share today.
It was part of a card I made years ago and decided to give it a facelift so to speak.

In this cards previous life it had hearts on it with a Congrats sentiment.
It's been sitting on my card rack for many years so I decided instead of throwing it out that I would redo it. The cardbase, DSP and gold brads are all still original but I took off the hearts & sentiment and added new!
Those gorgeous flowers come from the retired Wild About Flowers set as well as the saying.
I think the flowers really revived the almost dead card and gave it a new life!
I don't have much on my card rack for a woman's retirement card so this will work well for that!
Still have a few more to make for this occasion in due time.

Card Details:

Stamps: Wild About Flowers (retired)
Ink: Sahara Sand, Old Olive & Apricot Appeal (retired) Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Bashful Blue (retired), Apricot Appeal (retired), Sahara Sand, Whisper White, Delicate Dots DSP (retired)
Accessories: Corner Punch (retired), Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Gold Brads, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The inside says " Enjoy your Retirement!"

My thoughts today...

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

I remember those pretty papers used on this card, and the floral image is so serene and perfect for retirement, as many retirees turn to gardening once there's no job to go to. Nice remake and a great save! Enjoy this gorgeous day! I too hope to get out and soak up some sun!
