Apron of Love for Father's Day

Hello & Happy Saturday!

It's looking a little dreary here this morning.
We had some heavy rain & thunderstorms overnight.
Hopefully later the sun will come out!
Gigi & Bailee are off to doggy day spa this morning, which they desperately need!

Before my day gets away from me I want to share a really cool card I made for Shawn for Father's Day. Ryan has been after me for the last couple of weeks to make him a Father's Day card and I finally got one made that I think Shawn will really like!

Around our house Shawn does all the grilling and to be honest, I don't think I would even know how to start a grill! He's always done it and has added a smoker to his list of things to use outside. I'm not a big fan of stuff that has a smoked taste but he makes a really good rack of ribs in it!
So when I saw the Apron of Love set I knew this set would be perfect for making him a great man card because of his love of grilling! I don't know about you but he grills all year long....even when it snows! There's nothing like a good burger on the grill in the middle of winter!
Shawn does not have a handy dandy apron like this when he grills but he does have a bunch of grilling utensils that I got him years ago from Pampered Chef that have withstood the test of time and are used each & every time he grills. He enjoys grilling and smoking so I think this is something he will really like!

Card Details:

Stamps: Apron of Love
Ink: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Very Vanilla, Wood Textures DSP
Accessories: Apron Builder Framelits, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, Burlap Ribbon, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

This Wood Textures DSP has carried over from the last catty to the new one which i'm very happy about! It makes for a great masculine card no matter the occasion...even a Father's Day card!

My thoughts today...

That is all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Look at that masculine masterpiece. Great idea for the manly apron.

What a cool idea to use the wood dsp for a smoker/griller card for Shawn! I don't grill either and leave all that up to Butch. Steaks would be like shoe leather if I grilled them! LOL Love that apron and all the utensils, and I still have all my pampered chef stuff - it's indestructible! Love my pizza stone the most :) Enjoy the sunshine today - it's a rare treat for this neck of the woods! LOL

Great masculine card. Perfect for the kind of the grill.
