DD Pines HB Card #3

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday was my day to do housework so again their was no creative time.
I hope today once I get the bathroom cleaned that I can get inky!
Saturday, I am having friends over for some play time!
I've not stamped with friends since December (thanks to the virus) so I am looking forward to seeing them and making cards! I will share those projects next week.

Today I have another masculine birthday card to share that is part of my customers card order.
Remember all 5 need to be different since they are all for family.

A few months ago I purchased a stamp set off someone on Facebook.
It was the retired DD Pines. DD stands for Definitely Decorative.
Anxious to use it I finally had a reason to ink it up!
Needless to say that this stamp set was unmounted and never seen ink....until now!

I found that stamping the solid image was a bit of a challenge and ended up using my foam piercing mat under it. It wasn't the best image but it worked.
I used my Stamp A Ma Jig to get perfect placement for the birds. I'm supposing they are geese?
I also used the new Happiest of Birthdays stamp set for my sentiment.
That is a great set and I can see using that ALOT!

Card Details:

Stamps: DD Pines (retired), Happiest of Birthdays
Ink: Shaded Spruce, Soft Suede
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Shaded Spruce, HOTP Plaid Paper
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Linen Thread, Holiday Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This card is completely flat for easy mailing!

My thoughts today...

Thanks for stopping by & enjoy your day!

Nice job with this set and I love the colors. To get a good stamp, try using a plain old white eraser on the stamp before using it - it may give you a better image. Also stamp first with Versafine ink and then your ink color. I've had luck with both before. Hope you're enjoying this gorgeous weather while it's here! TC
