Wonderful Blessings

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Hope your all having a great weekend!

I am spending mine from either my Lazy Boy recliner or my bed, which ever I can handle at the moment. I threw my back out yesterday. Not sure how or what I did but you know it's bad when you have to ask for help to get out of the chair to stand up!!! And of course the pain reflects on every move you make. My heating pad and I are becoming close friends again and sleeping is nearly impossible when you can't get to that one certain way you are comfortable with. I have so much planned on my calendar this week that I have a feeling will get cancelled unless this gets better in a day or 2. To make matters worse, today is my son, Ryan's 31st birthday and I have yet to get a card made for him. I have a Martin Truex (NASCAR) Championship t-shirt on the way for him but no card. I may try to hobble down the basement steps today to make one. If I get one made I will share it here tomorrow.

So, as I type this here this morning I am in my Lazy Boy with the heating pad on and coffee in hand.
I have a pack of cards to share that I whipped up last week for my customer Audrey. She asks every year for a special pack of cards for her pastors at church. This is what I made for her.

I pulled out an oldie but goodie single stamp from a few years back called Wonderful Blessings. It makes the most perfect Christmas card! I sometimes struggle with getting a clear image when using this stamp but this time I used my Stampin Up Foam Mat under it and they came out spot on! I added a bit of bling to the Star of Wonder at the top of the image with a clear rhinestone. I know Audrey likes that sparkle! I cut my images out with the Circle Layering Framelits and then matted them with a coordinating Scallop Circle. My Whisper White piece is embossed with the Falling Snow Embossing Folder and I left it at that.

Peace on Earth Card Set:

Stamps: Wonderful Blessings
Ink: Dapper Denim
Cardstock: Dapper Denim, Whisper White
Acceesories: Circle Layering Framelits, Rhinestones, Falling Snow Embossing Folder, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I'm sure she will love these and they are flat for easy mailing, too!

My thoughts today...

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have yourself a nice day!

I'm so sorry you hurt your back again, and what a horrible time of year to do that :( So much always needs to be done these few short weeks before Christmas. Just take care of yourself and get the rest you need to recover. Sending warm hugs your way. The cards are elegant, classy and perfect for the occasion! I love that tiny single gemstone that adds the perfect bit of shimmer to the cards! Well done! TC!!
