5th Card for Bella

Hello & Happy Thursday!

It's trash day here and with all the heavy rain and crazy winds I had to run out and fetch my cans!
Yep, we are having another gloom & doom day!

I have the last card to share today that I made for my card lady.
She requested a variety pack of cards for a little girl named Bella.
For this card I pulled out a Whipper Snapper doggie stamp.

I colored my dog with Stampin Blends then took my Color Lifter over it so soften it a bit.
The doily border that is under the dog panel is from Stampin Up from a few years ago.
I'm not even sure the name of it but it has an adhesive on the backside which stuck very well.
I'm sure I must have grabbed it off the Clearance Rack sometime.

Card Details:

Stamps: Whipper Snapper
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Basic Grey- Sugared
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Doily Border (retired), Old Olive Ribbon (retired), Blackberry Bliss Faceted Dots (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It's always fun to pull out the old stash and use it up!
I loved Basic Grey papers back in the day!
Is Basic Grey still around?

My thoughts today...

That is the most perfect picture for today!
A blustery, heavy rain and it's the last day of April.
I hope May brings us more sunshine and warmer temps!

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!

Pretty Butterfly

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your week is going well!

Yesterday I spent all day picking at that 1000 piece puzzle!
I'm about half way thru it and is it ever hard!
I will share a picture of it when it's completed.

I woke up this morning to sunshine but now the clouds are rolling in.
It sure would be nice to have a week of nice sunshine and warm temps!

So today I am sharing card #4 that I made for my card lady that requested the cards for a little girl.

I went searching thru all kinds of papers and pulled out this piece of Basic Grey paper and went to work!

At one point I took all my sheets of Basic Grey and cut them down to 6 x 6 sheets and placed them into a zippy bag and labeled them.
This sheet is from the Basic Grey Urban Praire and I covered my Thick Whisper White cardbase with it.
I love the pretty colors and pulled out the Bermuda Bay color within the butterflies.
I diecut a butterfly from the retired Bold Butterfly Framelits.
I added some Rhinestones and adhered it to my cardbase and called it done.

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Bermuda Bay, Basic Grey Urban Praire
Accessories: Bold Butterfly Framelits (retired), Champagne Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I think this one is my favorite!

Beautiful Friendship Hello Card

Hello & Happy Tuesday!

Yesterday whooped my butt doing all that housework!
I even got my downstairs done except for the bathroom.
Since Shawn is the one who usually takes care of that one I just clean everything else aka family room & my stamp room.
He was late getting home from work last evening so he did not have time to do the bathroom.
I broke out a cool puzzle that Deb left me borrow months ago and started it at my kitchen table last evening. I sat there until my eyes went wonky which was after midnight.
I may continue to pick at it today! Those things are addicting and a great way to pass the time!

So today I am sharing another card that I learned to make at one of Debbie's Facebook classes.
I'm not sure what this card style is called but it was really easy to make!

Then the white panel opens up for you to put your saying inside.
This card is exactly like Debbie's as I stamped right alongside of her when she had class.
It's been wonderful having these classes!
She gives us the measurements and colors, dsp or whatever we need ahead of time.
I have everything she used but I changed up my sentiment on the front.

Card Details:

Stamps: Beautiful Friendship, Flourishing Phrases (sentiment)
Ink: Lovely Lipstick, Flirty Flamingo, Highland Heather, Bermuda Bay, Soft Seafoam
Cardstock: Lovely Lipstick, Whisper White
Accessories: Basket Weave EF (retired), Oval Layering Framelits, Bermuda Bay 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Rhinestones, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These classes she is holding on Facebook are teaching me new things which I will share with my stamp girls once we are able to be sociable again!
I hope it's soon because I am in major need of some girl time!
You too?

Amen on that!

Woven Heirlooms Card Holder w 4 Cards

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope you had a nice weekend!
Saturday was a nice day and I managed to get my card order delivered and finish up laundry!
I even got to see my friend Deb for a few minutes as she stood in her driveway and we were down on the street still in our car. Yea, that social distancing thing is just still odd to me!

So, today is my cleaning day and with having a bum neck, not sure what I will get accomplished.
I have another Card Holder and 4 Cards to share with you today!
I have been on a roll with making these because they are so fun!

My Card Holder is made with the same Woven Threads DSP as Debbie used in her class.
I have had my eye on that suite since the catalog went live last June and I finally ordered it recently.
I used a different layout for my cards than hers.
My stamp set, Woven Heirlooms is perfect for a variety of sayings which is what I used on each card.

Project Details:

Stamps: Woven Heirlooms
Ink: Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose
Cardstock: Seaside Spray, Rococo Rose, Whisper White, Woven Threads DSP
Accesories: Heart Punch Pack, Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Seaside Spray Metallic Ribbon, Rhinestones, 2 Sided Tape, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This Card Holder is already SOLD!
I gave the green one with the Daisies on to my card lady yesterday and she just raved over it!
She is to let me know how many more she wants this week so you'll be seeing more!
Good thing I have enjoyed making them!!

Little Lion

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today I have card # 3 that I created for my card lady that requested 5 cards for a little girl.
This one went pretty easy being that I just diecut the lion from DSP!

I used the Birthday Bonanza DSP for covering the card base then diecut a circle out from another sheet of DSP that had the lion's on.
I just love the sweet little face on it!
I layered him onto a Scallop cCircle Framelit cut in Mango Melody which was layered onto a piece of Daffodil Delight cardstock that was diecut with the Stitched Nested Dies.
I added rhinestones from the Holiday Rhinestone pack and a Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon.
I hope with the bow & rhinestones that is it geared more towards a little girl.
Either way I think little Miss Bella will love it!

Card Details:

Stamps: none
Ink: none
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Mango Melody, Birthday Bonanza DSP
Accessories: Circle Layering Framelits, Stitched Nested Dies, Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, Holiday Rhinestones, Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I told you that this DSP is pretty cool!
Sadly though it will be retiring next month.
What a bummer!

Girly Dino Days

Hello & Happy Saturday!

Today I am not sure what's on our agenda.
He needs to check something on the truck as his check engine light came on.
I will finish up my card order today and get that delivered this evening.
Do you have any fun plans on your agenda today?

So, I have another card to share that was made for my card lady's order.
This is another one of those cards for a child that she requested.

What do you think of this for a little girl?

Card Details:

Stamps: Dino Days
Ink: Old Olive
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Dinoroar DSP
Accessories: Dino Dies, Stitched Shapes Framelits, Old Olive 1/4 Ribbon (retired), Dinoroar Enamel Shapes, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

The Dinoroar Suite is perfect for those kids cards!
The DSP is quite colorful and the best part is, the dies will cut images out from the DSP!
So fun!

Whipper Snapper Dog

Hello & Happy Friday!

It was another rainy, dreary day here in south central Pennsylvania.
I'm so tired of the doom & gloom of these rainy days.
I need lots of sunshine in my life to keep me stepping!

My post is late today as I thought I had already had this post ready to go live this morning.
I took it easy today after a week of not feeling well.
I slept in this morning and just tinkered around the rest of the day.
Sometimes ya just need to take it easy.
I had a long talk on the phone this afternoon with my dear friend Deb which was the highlight of my day! I threw some chicken pies in the oven for supper and finally jumped in the shower only to put pj's right back on! Yes, it's that kind of day!

I worked this week on a card order and one of the requests was a couple cards made for a child with no sentiments on. I'm fine with making cards for kids but without sentiments just throws me off.
This is one I created...

This card uses a Whipper Snapper stamp that I have had in my collection for many years.
The paper is Basic Grey Max & Whiskers.

Card Details:

Stamps: Whipper Snapper
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends
Cardstock: Bermuda Bay, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Grey Max & Whiskers
Accessories: Pumpkin Pie Enamel Dots, Bermuda Bay 1/4 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I hope this works for my card lady.
I always struggle with a card with no saying on it.
I need to get 4 more made for her before I deliver these.
Ughh, the struggle is real!

My thoughts today...

I hope that made you laugh!

Christmas in April

Hello & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
I was out yesterday and cleaned out one of the flower beds.
There is still one more and hopefully my hubby can do that one next weekend.

I woke up this morning with another UTI.
These are starting to be a real issue.
My doctors office is closed so I did not try to contact them.
I have some antibiotics and some AZO here that I started.
If it doesn't get any better in a day or so I will contact the office.
So for now, I am taking it easy with my heating pad & lots of water!

Today I have a card to share that I made with one of Debbie's online card classes.
These classes have been a blessing and i've enjoyed them!

This one was a Christmas card in April and it was made just like her sample.

I made some changes to it but it's pretty much just like her card.
And of course, you know that I love a fun fold style!

Card Details:

Stamps: Dashing Deer
Ink: Real Red
Cardstock: Pacific Point, Whisper White, Pacific Point DSP
Accessories: Details Deer Thinlits, Quilt EF, Classic Label Punch, Mini Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I would have never thought to use Real Red and Pacific Point together for a Christmas card!
That is why I love her classes and she has a real knack for using different color combinations!
I will be sharing this one with my Stamp Girls once we can get together safely to stamp again!

Sending Lemon Smiles

Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

Hope your enjoying your weekend!
Yesterday I had a pajama day.
Shawn relaxed and watched tv so I decided to do some fun crafting at my stamp table!

I watched a FB Live from the Kitchen Table Stamper on Friday and remembered I picked up these Lemon Kit Kats before Easter that I never used. I paired the 2 together to make some sweet treats to give out. These are sure to bring lots of smiles!

Here is the link for the video to make your own!

These little triangle boxes come together so easy and they are sized to fit just a few pieces of candy!

Once I got my cardstock cut & scored I traced the triangle front and made a template so I could cut DSP to fit. My DSP is from last year's Gingham Gala which was perfect for my box. I used the retired Lemon Zest stamp set & Lemon Builder Punch. The sentiment is from Hero Arts.

Once I threaded my Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon thru the holes to hold the box together I tied a big bow and lastly I added some Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dots to the front of my box and called it done.

I love how they turned out!
Thank you, Marisa from Kitchen Table Stamper for sharing her creativity with us!

Project Details:

Stamps: Lemon Zest (retired), Hero Art Ssentiment
Ink: Daffodil Delight, Granny Apple Green, Memento Black
Cardstock: Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, Gingham Gala DSP (retired)
Accessories: Lemon Builder Punch (retired), Daffodil Delight Ruched Ribbon, Granny Apple Green Glittered Enamel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I picked up the Lemon Kit Kats at my local Giant grocery store back before Easter.
I am not sure if they still have them or not.
I was pretty skeptical when I bought them not knowing how good they were.
I think they are pretty good for being lemon! YUM!

My thoughts today...

I say instead of making lemonade, make some sweet treats!

That's all for today!
