Spooky Halloween

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Up bright and early this morning to get crackin on a huge card order.
I'm not sure I will have it done by the end of the week but I will certainly try!
It's another humid day here. A big cold front is coming though!
By Friday we could see some really cool air moving in and I mean 25-30 degrees cooler!
I am hoping it will be time to take the ac's out for the season!

Today I have one last card to share that we made last Saturday at World Cardmaking Day.
This one we used the Stamparatus on for the Buffalo Check background stamp.
Take a look....

First, we stamped the Buffalo Check on Pumpkin Pie cardstock with Basic Black Archival Ink then with another plate on the Stamparatus, we stamped the tree on the Very Vanilla piece.
Then I had a piece of cardstock that has a 1 3/8 inch Circle punched out and we used it as a mask to sponge in our spooky harvest moon with Pumpkin Pie ink. Then we stamped our gray clouds with a stamp from the Spooky Sweet stamp set. Wrapped it up by adding a long strip of Black Glittered Ribbon, bunched up and adhered to the cardstock and then popped up the sentiment on top of the ribbon.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sheltering Tree, Spooky Sweet, Buffalo Check
Ink: Basic Black Archival, Pumpkin Pie
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Very Vanilla
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Circle Layering Framelits, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Spooky Bats Punch, Black Glittered Ribbon, Sponge, Mini Dimensionals, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Really liking that Buffalo Check background stamp!
It can be used for many different occasions and it's very trendy right now!

My thoughts today....

That's all for now!
Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

Totally awesome! I still have not had a chance to ink my background stamp, but I will. I love the little ribbon detail you created. The stencil you created is a great trick, and one I use quite often. Have a great Hump Day!

You are so right! The buffalo check is everywhere. We were up in Amish Country this past weekend, and a lot of stores had decor in that print. Love your Halloween card. Great use of that bare tree and neat way to do the ribbon.

Love that background!! I also like the way you did the ribbon behind the sentiment panel. Great card! Good luck getting your card order done. You going to the stamp show in York? It's this Fri and Sat guess they're hoping that'll do better than Sat/Sun?! They need more/better venders for that! But i'm going and meeting a friend that's never been before and I'm sure i'll still manage to spend to much $$

oh, this one is fun! I absolutely LOVE that checkered background with the tree, but that ribbon treatment really caught my eye too! Fun Halloween card without being too scary :) NJ!
