Springtime Butterfly

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Sorry for the late update this morning!
The last few days are kinda a blur as Shawn's phone rang morning noon & night so it was sleepless and needless to say we were pretty grumpy!
I went to bed last evening at 8pm and slept until 10 this morning.
I was just beat!!

I do have a card to share today that I made to send out to a friend.
I definitely cased it from a card I saw online.
I loved how simple it was!

Nothing is popped up so it makes for easy mailing but don't you love how the butterfly wings are still free to move?! The body of the butterfly is glued down and the wings are left to move.
Such a fun card to make and that butterfly is so pretty!

Card Details:

Stamps: Peaceful Moments
Ink: Melon Mambo
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Whisper White, Lilypad DSP (SAB 20)
Accessories: Springtime Impressions Framelits, Glittered Enamel Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

My thoughts today...

Thanks for stopping by & have a great day!
~Wendy

This butterfly is beautiful, with that pretty DSP peeking out from underneath! Hope you get caught up on your sleep! Stay warm, it's quite chilly out there today!

This is just beautiful and such a thoughtful card to send considering the circumstances we're all living under these days. Loving the beautiful paper behind the fluttering butterfly too. Hopefully you can now chill for a few days without the danged phone ringing all the time! Stay well and enjoy the sunshine today - it isn't going to last very long :(

Great way to showcase the pretty paper! And to keep/use the negative space of a die cut piece! Winner winner!! The glitter dots are the perfect finishing touch.
