Sorry To See You Go...

 Hello & Happy Monday!

Can you believe that it's November 1st!!??
The year is whizzing by pretty fast!
I hope you all had a nice weekend and a safe trick or treating night!
It was cold & windy here and we were lucky we had 25 kids stop for candy.

Today I am sharing a card I made for a guy Shawn works with (or should I say he did work with). His work has mandated that all employees be vaccinated by Nov. 1st and this guy is young with small children and was dead set against it for religious reasons since it was announced. Friday was his last day so Shawn asked me to make a card for him. They had a small going away party for him. It's all really sad!! He was one hell of a worker/mechanic and Shawn's 2nd shift lead person.
This is the card I made him and Shawn had all the guys at work sign it.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sorry For Everything
Ink: Delightful Dijon (retired), Basic Gray
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Very Vanilla, Silver Foil Paper, Urban District Specialty DSP (retired)
Accessories: Build It Framelits (retired), Stitched Rectangle Framelits, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This one was fun to create, just wish it was for a different occasion.
Shawn & his coworkers are really going to miss this guy!

My thoughts today...

We had rain & some winds the last few days.
You can really see the colors changing on the trees and yesterday the leaves were really starting to blow off. Time to start raking!

Thanks for stopping by & have a wonderful day!

I love your card! It's perfect to give to friends of ours who are moving away. He is a carpenter extraordinaire. Thanks for sharing!

Your card is beautiful and thoughtul. Unfortunately, it's the way things are now. Love your use of the Build It framelits and card design! Btw, I was up in the midwest last week and got to visit Michael's and Hobby Lobby. I was in heaven! Lol...

I'm glad you were able to make this card for the occasion. It's sickening to see so many people losing their jobs due to these mandates. It's a great masculine theme and hopefully this guy will find a good job elsewhere without having to conform to someone else's ideals!

Great card. Sad that he had to make that choice.
