Love Is Kindness

Hello & Happy Friday!

Hope your all holding up thru the social distancing thing!
Last evening we headed to a local store for some groceries and the store was crazy!
Everyone was very friendly but the shelves were just about empty.
It's kinda sad because no one has ever experienced anything like this before.
As of last evening there are 185 people in Pennsylvania that have been confirmed with Covid 19.
The Governor is asking for more places to close so we can get the spread under control.

So, I stamped a bit yesterday without throwing anything away!
I pulled out some old stuff and just started to play...

Do you remember this Love Is Kindness stamp?
It had a different saying attached to it that I trimmed off carefully.
I was in the mood to color although I can't say the same for my hands!
My sentiment is from the retired Circle of Spring set.
The paper is from SaleABration 2015 called Best Year Ever.

Card Details:

Stamps: Love Is Kindness (retired), Circle of Spring (retired)
Ink: Memento Black, Stampin Blends - Pool Party, Granny Apple Green, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Thick Whisper White, Pool Party, Whisper White, Best Year Ever DSP (retired SAB 15)
Accessories: Stitched So Sweetly Dies, Pool Party Twine, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I have so much in retired stuff and it always feels great to use a bit more of it up!
So break out those retired stamps, ink & paper and make something beautiful!

Chocolate Bunny

Hello & Happy Thursday!

The week is flying by and only 3 more days till Easter!

Today I am sharing a couple of Easter cards that I made this week and mailed out to friends using the Chocolate Bunny from years ago. It's one stamp that will stay in my collection for along time!

These cards used many retired products from moons ago but I was thrilled to use them and breath new life into them again! I had to reink my old ink pads so I could use the same colors that were in my DSP.  Regal Rose was a favorite. My Close to Cocoa ink pad was very dry. Good thing I still had the reinker!

Card Details:

Stamps: Chocolate Bunny, Circle of Spring (sentiment)
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Cardstock: Regal Rose, Sahara Sand, Close to Cocoa, Whisper White, Rebecca DSP
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, Oval Layering Framelits, Regal Rose 1/8 Taffeta Ribbon, Glue Dots, Rhinestones, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

This last one was done with retired products as well.

Sarah is the name of the DSP and I used retired Ballet Blue & Barely Banana cardstock.
Anyone remember those colors?

Today is definitely a blast from the past!

My thoughts today....

Baseball season opens today and looking out my window right now does not look like spring.
It is cloudy, foggy & calling for more rain showers. Dare I say it but I heard yesterday that there may be a chance of some snow next week! Acck! I sure hope not!

Anyways, thanks for stopping by & have yourself a great day!

Easter Bunny Pouches

Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today I have a cute Easter Treat to share!

I have made this same type of treat for Halloween & Valentines Day.

The bunny face is from a stamp set called Friends & Flowers and it coordinates with the Festive Flower Punch. It is a very versatile set and one I will hang on to for a long time!

Easter Bunny Pouches:

Stamps: Friends & Flowers, Circle of Spring (sentiment)
Ink: Memento Black, R21 Copic Marker
Cardstock: Baja Breeze, Neenah White, Baja Breeze DSP 12x 12 Stack
Accessories: Stitched Shapes Framelits, 1 3/8 Circle Punch, Festive Flower Builder Punch, Ornate Tag Topper Punch, Blue Ribbon from Dollar Tree, Blue Gel Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose
Liquid Glue

These pouches are easy to whip up!
All you need is a piece of cardstock that measures 2 x 11. Score at 5 & 6 and punch both ends with a Tag Topper Punch. For these I use the retired Ornate Tag Topper Punch. Then I used a 2 x 8 cello bag and filled them with 4 Dove Chocolates and snipped my bags down to fit. I then attached it inside with a small piece of 2 Sided Tape and then tied the tops closed. Then decorate and have fun!

Hope you like these!

Circle of Spring

Hello & Happy Wednesday!

Hope your all having a nice week so far!

Yesterday, I sat down at my stamp table to design a card for my customer for Easter.
I went thru all my Easter stamps and nothing really jumped out at me.
I then went thru my flower sets and found this set called Circle of Spring.
It's hardly seen ink in the last year and so a card was born!

I stamped my images in Memento Black and colored with Copic Markers in the colors of Pear Pizzazz and Sweet Sugarplum. I used a 1 inch strip of Sweet Sugarplum In Color DSP on each card and for the sentiment I stamped that in Memento Black and cut out with a small die from the Circle Nestibilities and layered it onto a piece of Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper. I like the colors and that little pop of sparkle from the Glimmer Paper. A simple design to mass produce 10 cards which are very mail friendly too!

Circle of Spring Cards:

Stamps: Circle of Spring
Ink: Memento Black, Copic Markers (R83 & YG03)
Cardstock: Sweet Sugarplum, Neenah White, Sweet Sugarplum 12 x 12 In Color DSP Stack, Sweet Sugarplum Glimmer Paper
Accessories: Circle Nestibilities, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I purchased this set because it coordinated with the Wonderful Wreath Framelits that I have but today decided not to cut out each wreath since I needed to make 10 of these. I would have been cranking that Big Shot handle forever then! I will give it a go another day!

Hope you enjoyed my card today!

Happy Easter!!

Hello & Happy Sunday!

Today is a busy day here at the Aungst Pad as we are preparing Easter Dinner!
The weather is looking to be so so but i'm looking forward to a fun day then after dinner we are going for a hike unless the clouds and rain come before. Surprisingly, my back has been handling our hikes pretty good. The steep hills really pull on it but nothing too bad. It also might be an indication that my injections are wearing off. Time will tell but in the meantime I am enjoying the outdoors with my one & only!!!

Anyways, today I have more Easter treats I whipped up for my Easter table. I'm sure everyone will love these because I put there favorite candy in them...,Kit Kat Bars and Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs!

I just cannot get enough of this adorable bunny! He is just the cutest thing EVER!
I used the Mini Treat Bag Framelits for these bags with patterned paper from Hobby Lobby that I picked up around Christmas time. The "Happy Easter" is from the Circle of Spring stamp set. I cannot wait to play with that set a bit more too!

Easter Mini Treat Bags:

Stamps: Circle of Spring (sentiment), Friends & Flowers (bunny)
Ink: Lavender Lace, Marina Mist, Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Patterned Paper from Hobby Lobby, Whisper White, Pear Pizzazz, Lavender Lace, Marina Mist
Accessories: Circle Punches, Mini Treat Bag Framelits & Accessories, Festive Flower Punch, Ribbon, Bow Tie Clips, Glue Dots, Dimensionals, Tombow Liquid Glue

That's all I have for today!
I'd like to wish you all a very happy & blessed Easter with your loved ones! Enjoy your day!

Thanks for stopping by & I will be back tomorrow with another challenge for Merry Monday and I will be sharing some news. Stay tuned!!
