Dinosaur Birthday

 Good Saturday Morning, Everyone!

I know I am sounding like a broken record but we are in for more very hot & humid weather today! I am hoping for some a thunderstorm because the grass is turning brown & getting crispy. It seems awfully early in the summer season for such hot weather and no rain.
Anyways, Shawn & I are headed out this morning to Home Depot & Walmart then back home. I am hoping to get back to the stamp table today. I spent all afternoon there yesterday!

Today I have another cutie patootie card to share that was made for Audrey's order. The very last card she requested was one for her great granddaughter, Malia. She wasn't sure when I was going to be in her way with another card order and wanted to make sure I she had a card for her 1st birthday which is coming in July. Can't believe that little one will be 1 already! We had a chance about 2 months ago to meet little Malia and she is just the sweetest! She even had her ears pierced! Anyways, Audrey informed me that she loves dinosaurs and has a pink one that she carries with her. I immediately thought of the Dinoroar Bundle that was out a few years ago!

Card Details:

Stamps: Dino Days (retired)
Ink: Melon Mambo, Old Olive, Crumb Cake
Cardstock: Melon Mambo, Basic White, Old Olive, Dinoroar DSP (retired)
Accessories: Dino Dies (retired), Diorama Dies (retired), Dinoroar Enamel Shapes (retired), Large Number Framelits (retired), Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

It turned out pretty sweet & Audrey said this is perfect for Malia!
It always helps when you have a room full of retired stuff to fall back on when something special is needed!!

Holy Guacamole!

 Good Morning & Happy Sunday!

I hope your enjoying your weekend!

Yesterday we had the nicest day in quite awhile! Beautiful blue skies and lots of warm sunshine. It was the perfect day! The last 2 weeks have flown by as there has been alot going on here. Shawn breaking a tooth, then a kidney stone, then oral surgery for him. Then me breaking a crown, doctor appointments for us both. Friday morning Kelsey got up with the stomach bug. I don't think I have ever seen her so sick. She couldn't keep anything in. Saturday she was atleast able to keep fluids & food in but still was plagued with a terrible headache. Friday night Shawn was up all night as his Restless Legs meds did nothing for him. Saturday, our butts were dragging from being up most of the night and it was such a beautiful day but neither of us felt like doing much. We muttled through our day and ordered a pizza for supper and went to bed way early (it was still daylight). Poor Bailee could hardly keep awake at the groomers yesterday. It's been crazy around here so I am hoping things will start to calm down!

This morning Shawn went fishing since it's a beautiful morning here. I slept in a bit longer than I wanted to but after the last 2 weeks....it felt good to do that! Kelsey is suppose to work later today so I hope she is feeling 100%.

Today I have yet another Taco Fiesta card to share with you!
I have come to love this stamp set and was thrilled that it carried over into the new Stampin Up! Catalog!

Recently I saw some cards that LeeAnne Greff shared using the Diorama Dies and making such colorful panels. I saved the post to use for future inspiration and a few weeks ago I finally was able to try my hand at it. I do love the rainbow of colors which I used for my yummy chips & guacamole! This stamp set was created by Erica Cerwin for her Million Dollar Achiever stamp set. She lives in Texas so how perfect is this set?!

Card Details:

Stamps: Taco Fiesta
Ink: Real Red, Memento Black, Stampin Blends-Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Real Red, Azure Afternoon
Cardstock: Real Red, Basic White, Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Azure Afternoon
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Circle Layering Framelits, Diorama Dies, Rhinestones, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

For my colorful panel I took scraps of Granny Apple Green, Daffodil Delight, Real Red & Azure Afternoon cardstocks that measured 1/2 inch and they were all different lengths. I layered them on a small piece of Basic White cardstock and adhered them down. I trimmed all the long edges off with scissors. I used one of the Diorama Dies to diecut my Basic White panel but I don't remember which one. I made sure that the die was small enough so the colorful piece would show thru. Turned out perfect!

I've got a quick card to show you today that my card lady requested for a little boy that is turning 3. She said the little boy loves to go fishing with his Dad so she wanted something with fish...

These kind of cards usually throw me off a bit because I don't have much in kids stamps. Thankful I found the fish paper which was perfect for this card!

Card Details:

Stamps: A Grand Kid
Ink: Parakeet Party
Cardstock: Pool Party, Basic White, Parakeet Party, K&Company-Berry Sweet

Audrey said it was perfect!
YAY!
That is all from me today!

Wonderful World

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

Yesterday turned out to be an eventful day!
I worked on my card lady's order and was just about ready to call it a day at my stamp table when she called and asked for more cards. I was there for about 2 hours longer than I anticipated but as of this morning I only need 1 more card to finish unless she calls me again! LOL
Then Shawn calls me at 3:30 to tell me that the car (Chrysler 300) left him sit at work. He just had it at the garage and had some work done on it and a day later it would not start. Next thing ya know the tow truck backs into the driveway with the car & Shawn. Not sure what the next step is! LOL
Then we had thunderstorms for about 2 hours straight. It really rained which was good for the garden & grass. Then we hopped in the truck and did a quick run to Walmart. Last night was the 1st night of preseason football which we completely missed but it was ok since it was not our team playing. My head hit the pillow around 9pm and I think I died! LOL I never heard Shawn get up for work this morning and I did not wake up till almost 7am! That hardly ever happens!

So, today I have 1 more card to make for Audrey then I have lots of laundry waiting to get started. We are in for another hot & humid day with another round of rinse & repeat storms. Kelsey has the day off so maybe tonight we will take a quick trip to Hobby Lobby. I know she is looking for a few things for her new hutch which looks amazing! She is so good at decorating!

I have a set of cards to share that I did whip up the other day for my card lady's order. She loves her cards that have no sayings on which I do struggle with. This set kinda came easy to me!

Those dies are the Diorama Dies that came out last year.
I only just recently got them and these were the first play with them!
They remind me of dippy eggs as we call them or eggs over medium.
They were the perfect die to fit my beautiful flower!
This is the Wonderful World bundle that is a SaleABRation offering for spending $100. There are so many pretty prints in this pack of DSP. Just lovely if your a flower person!

Card Details:

Stamps: Wonderful World (SAB 22)
Ink: Starry Sky & Mossy Meadow Stampin Write Markers
Cardstock: Starry Sky, Basic White, Wonderful World DSP (SAB 22)
Accessories: Diorama Dies, Brushed Brass Butterflies, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

These came together so quick & easy and the best part, there is nothing popped up!
I hope she will like these!
