Ballerina Birthday

 Hello & Happy Thursday!

Today's card is one that was on Audrey's last card order for her neighbor, Molly!
Every year since this little girl was born I have made cards for Audrey to give her. She loves dancing & the ballet. I really did not have much else to offer as far as dancing so the ballerina won! I really love how this one turned out...

Card Details:

Stamps: Sparkly Seasons (retired), Greetings of the Season & Everyday Greetings (Online Exclusives)
Ink: Pretty in Pink
Cardstock: Pretty in Pink, Basic White, Pretty in Pink DSP
Accessories: Stylish Shapes Dies, Pretty in Pink In Color Shimmer Dots & Ribbon, Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey loved it!

Yesterday I managed to get my 3rd card kit almost completed for my Christmas Stamp Day w Friends. I think I was on the phone more than I had time to stamp! It must have been the day that everyone wanted to chat with me! Haha! Anyways, I will finish up that kit this morning then the rest will wait until over the weekend.

Ballerina Card

 Good Morning & Happy Fri-YAY!

I hope your weekend is off to a great start!
I am all ready for my Stamp Day w/ Friends tomorrow afternoon! WooHoo! The table is set and my stamps & projects are just waiting on my friends now.
Today I am going to take a breather since I feel like I have been going 100 mph in the last week or so!
I have a card to share with you today that Audrey requested for a little girl that is turning 10 soon. She said she loves dancing so I went thru many of my stamps and found this ballerina and got to work.

It's always a pleasure to make a card with stamps that have not seen ink in ages!
Pretty much everything I used is retired.

Card Details:

Stamps: Sparkly Seasons (retired), Artistically Inked
Ink: Crumb Cake, Memento Black, Copic Markers
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic White, Pretty in Pink (retired), Pretty in Pink DSP (retired)
Accessories: Playful Alphabet Dies, Pretty in Pink Sheer Ribbon (retired), Glue Dot, Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

Audrey was pleased with the turn out of this card and said that Molly would love it!

Sparkly Seasons

 Hello & Happy Wednesday!

I hope your staying cool in the midst of the brutal heatwave!
Bailee & I went out for a walk around the yard yesterday and it was so hot.
There was a nice breeze but that did not make too much difference.

Last week I was sitting at my stamp table and I decided to pull out all of my Halloween stuff. Stamp sets, papers, dies and whatever was related to Halloween! I made 12 packs of cards with it and emptied out 2 packages of DSP! That felt so good to throw the empty packs away!
Today I am sharing one pack using the retired Sparkly Season from 2015 along with it's coordinating Seasonal Frame Thinlets Dies. I used several retired things so if you are familiar to Stampin Up! over the years you will probably recognize some things...

I purchased this set from Facebook second hand and I really don't remember using it much so today it got inked and used. I may even use it for some cards for Christmas since there are Christmas images in it, too! Today it's time for those happy jacks to shine....and do they ever shine! Look at those big smiles!

Card Details:

Stamps: Sparkly Seasons (2015 (pumpkin)-retired), Howl O Ween Treat (2015 (hat)-retired), To Every Season (2019 (sentiment)-retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Perfect Plum (retired)
Cardstock: Perfect Plum (retired), Pumpkin Pie, Basic White, Cast A Spell DSP (2009-retired)
Accessories: Stitched Rectangle Framelits (retired), Circle Layering Framelits (retired), Seasonal Frame Thinlets Dies (2015-retired), Boo To You Framelits (2015-retired), Halloween Night Enamel Dots (retired), Linen Thread Dimensionals, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had so much fun making these! I know I am not going to sell 12 + packs of Halloween cards this year but if & when my hands give out I have plenty to fall back on! Besides, it feels good to use this stuff up!

My thoughts today...

Spooky season is upon us but it sure does not feel like it when it's 100 degrees outside.
Hopefully soon!

Thanks for stopping by & stay cool!

Curvy Keepsake Pumpkin Boxes

Good Morning & Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had a nice weekend!
It rained all weekend here in PA.
This morning it is still raining and quite gloomy.
There is a touch of Fall in the air atleast for now.

Last Friday I dug out all my Halloween/Fall decorating stuff.
I also brought up my Halloween Ceramic Christmas Tree that I picked up earlier this year.
It's a bright green with orange bulbs in it and green rhinestones attached.
It is quite a pretty tree and the mold is by Doc Holiday.
It is my absolute favorite!
I also recently picked up a ceramic Ghost holding a Pumpkin and it lights up. It stands half as tall as my tree. My picture table is all decorated now for Halloween.
Lots of pumpkins and ghosts but nothing scary!
I got the stuff out to decorate the front porch too but not sure when that will get done with the wind and sideways rains we've been having. Hopefully soon!

So today I am going to start sharing some of my Halloween treats.
The treats I have today are by no means my design so I can't take credit for them.
These boxes are made with the Curvy Keepsake Box that was out maybe 2-3 years ago and I finally gave them a try!

These were quite a bit of work especially to create the witches hats and the paper bow that is attached. I watched a tutorial by Dawn Griffith to create these.

Project Details:

Stamps: Hardwood Background Stamp, Carved & Candlelit (retired), Sparkly Seasons (retired)
Ink: Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black Archival
Cardstock: Pumpkin Pie, Black Glimmer Paper (retired), Halloween Nights DSP (retired)
Accessories: 2" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch (retired), Curvy Keepsake Box Thinlits (retired), Bow Builder Punch (retired), Tree Punch (retired), Black Halloween Doilies (retired), Glue Dots, Tombow Multipurpose Liquid Glue

I had enough leftover Halloween Doilies and Black Glimmer Paper to create 10 of these.
They really are fun and what a neat project!
I filled them with Halloween Hershey Kisses.

My thoughts today.....

That's all for me!
Thanks for stopping by & have a great day...even if it is raining!
